And STALKER. And Metro 2033. And Resistance. And Gears of War. And Killing Floor. And Half-Life 2.

Half-life 2 was a dystopian game, not post apocalyptic.

STALKER isn't even remotely post-apocalyptic. Neither is Killing Floor or HL2.

Even if they're not "technically" post-apocalyptic they still give that same atmosphere and graphic style so I it's still a solid point. Not HL2 though.
I don't understand how it feels like a console port.
I see there's a lot of issues with Rage. My question to anyone who's played this is thus:
What's more worth it, this game for 50 EUR or ten beers for the same price?
What I have gathered from the info, this looks like my type of game. However, I will buy once the technical issues are sorted out.

I hate beer, so I'd rather play this game.
From what I've seen, the athmosphere looks amazing. The characters looks cool too.
Shame about the technical issues, though. I will buy it on Ultimatum when all the issues gets sorted out.
Why is everyone saying Linear is a bad thing?
since when does everything have to nonlinear?

Linear is usually not a bad thing, if done right. But say, a storyline in a game being completely linear can ruin it, in some cases.
But yes, in other cases it doesn't matter. I don't think a game such as DiRT would require non-linear gameplay.
From what I've heard, it's only linear in the beginning.
