Saints Row 4: National Treasure Edition coming to PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on July 8

I can't be bothered to find it, but I do recall something being said that Saints Row 4 was meant to be the last game starring the Saints as they are. Quite cryptic though, as it could mean that Saints Row 5, if its ever done, could be a reboot of sorts. It could mean an alternate timeline/dimension. It could mean it takes place 25 years later and you play as the children of the Saints(who for whatever reason revive their folks' old gang).

I can't get myself to finish this game. Gameplay is floaty and boring, I never even used the projectile superpowers, because it's so much easier to shoot everything from a distance with a pistol (playing on hardcore).

The humour aspects are [I]fine[/I], but I'd rather watch the cutscenes than playing the actual game. It's sad that they probably put more effort into the humour than anything else.

I want to go back to the more serious Saints Row games, where you actually chose whether you wanted to play serious or be some guy running around in a hotdog suit.

Actually I'm kind of curious as to what it would be like if it took place before even SR1 happened.

This is the best superpower sandbox game around. I'd highly recommend it.

I've heard rumors that it's gonna be SR1 reimagined.
