It'll be Steam Sale levels of rape it will.
You just reminded me that there is going to be a Steam summer sale. Oh gods.
Even if CJ isn't in the game, I guess there will be lots of evidence from SA, maybe Grove and the Ballas are still in SA. who knows? The only 100% Gaurenteed thing that I can say is that there will be easter eggs from GTA:SA though, and I guess there will be lots of them.
Grove Street and the Ballas might not even exist in the GTA V canon, so don't jump the gun.
It'd be cool if they actually put Sasquatch in the game.
Well it'd definitely be within rockstars expectations, they typically always aim to release their games either in the first or last week of the month and they aim for October.
They'll probably delay it just like they always do. Its rockstar we are talking about

CJ's voice actor confirmed he won't be in GTA IV, so I doubt we'll be seeing CJ or even the Grove Street Families. I bought about £200 worth of shares in Take-Two Interactive a few days ago, so it would be nice to see a pre-Christmas release. That said, I think we would have seen something by now were that the case, and their projected profits spike around May 2013. We'll wait and see.
I don't even mind CJ not being in there. This whole gangsta deal wasn't all that appealing.
I have missed flying jets :(
I hope it's more like previous titles in the way of humor and gameplay. GTA IV didn't feel like GTA. It felt more like a realistic.. New York "bad guy" simulator.

i hope it's nothing like SA. III, VC, & IV all are significantly better than it. SA was more like Saints Row. I don't want Saints Row. I want GTA.
Considering rockstar's track record I'd say its probably going to be April/May 2013.
And considering the major hints in the trailer, it'll be May 24th. [editline]30th April 2012[/editline] And for 5 years of development this sure as hell be better then the rest. I love the sound of the story line, so it brings hope.

Personally I loved them all but I think some of the more RPG features combined with the engine from IV and the missions from VC would be great.

GTA always had sutble humour and more satire than anything, SA just took that out the fucking window imo and i'd like to agree on the "rpg" features of SA but honestly they became less cool over time and more of a chore. oops i didn't go to the virtual gym now my punches hurt less!! (not to mention that being physically strong was one of the most useless things, faster & lighter always worked better in GTA)
And just like Gta 4,no computer will be capable of playing this on maximum settings.
I hope it's more like previous titles in the way of humor and gameplay. GTA IV didn't feel like GTA. It felt more like a realistic.. New York "bad guy" simulator.
Ballad of Gay Tony fixed this.

Story-wise San Andreas was terrible but gameplay-wise it is my favourite Grand Theft Auto game pre GTA IV. As long as GTA V has great music, a nice weather system and a large countryside I will be happy since my best memories of San Andreas are that of roaming the countryside in a bobcat listening to K-DST searching for the supposed "Bigfoot".
