a lot of rockstar games have been console exclusive, particularly ones not developed by R* north (R* north helped with RDR but did not develop it fully)
Red Dead Revolver was console exclusive too
the GTA series has always come out on PC, the last one was 3 years ago
sales for GTAIV were great for a PC game (despite heavy piracy), which must have made a tidy (and not inconsiderable) amount of money, 1/10th of the massive sales of console GTAIV is still a lot
I really don't know where everyone gets these ideas that rockstar have 'abandoned PC gaming'.

What are you talking about? That may be the best game Rockstar ever made.
It's probably much, much more harder to port RDR than L.A. Noire to PC.

It was great for one playthrough but honestly it got boring pretty fast. All the challenges outside of the main quest and hunting were incredibly boring so there wasn't much to do, and the multiplayer was god awful.
It just didn't have the staying power of GTA 4 in my opinion
bulletstorm was ok, all i said in the past is that it was at least funnier than the abysmally unfunny dnf

Not sure if people have mentioned this yet because i can't be bothered to read all the replies. But one of the main components of the game is the vibration in the console controller. How will they do this using PC?

This is cool and all, but I'd rather have RDR. Noire is more of an interactive movie than a game, so if you know what's going to happen in the story (thanks alot 100% video walkthrough) it's not going to be much fun.
I'm re-buying on PC just for the mods.
If this is going to use Games for Windows Live, I'm Going to pirate It.
