Battlefield 3 PC patch out tomorrow, 'no ETA' on 360 patch

Yes I do prefer to play the recon class but I hate being raped by enemy armour so I feel like I have no choice but to use engi.

This is what I mean by it being hard to explain.

I don't lose the ability to fight amour as I am fighting on the front line. The G53 is amazing at all ranges. I can play the engi role just like normal but I have the added ability to fight at longer ranges because of this scope.

I really wish I had some gameplay to show you.

I really wish I had my PC at uni so I could try it :v: I'd be able to see what you mean there a lot easier. Well, once I unlocked the G53 and scope.

Well we don't have a 12x scope any more but you can use a 6x or 7x. It is dam accurate and is so easy to just hold the trigger at close range it takes no effort at all to kill at least 2 people.

Medium range I found it pretty easy.

And just because of the accuracy of this gun I see a guy a bit further away than I could normally get him and I can literally look down my scope and hold the trigger without bursting and it would get him with ease.

I just used it as a way of reaching the player outside of normal shooting range. It is just one of those things that sounds unnecessary unless you try it because of how that particular gun works.

Oh and I am going to use the (as val) with a 7x scope and extended mag now. Once I have the kills for those things. It seems nice and accurate so fare on testing without a scope.

I think the patch has been released silently on the 360, just had an update this morning.

Bleh. I love this patch so much but for some reason the game is now completely unplayable. It's like when I played before I overclocked my CPU. It would run fine, but when you start moving between certain area's I'll get massive lag spikes that last 5 to 10 seconds.
