The box doesn't mean that it renders at that resolution, it can OUTPUT at that resolution. It also says 480p, it doesn't mean that if I use a 480p TV that the game renders at 480p, it gets upscaled or downscaled to the resolution of the TV running it. Basically every console game has that on the box and the majority run at 720p. Considering the fact that every past AC game ran at 720p, I can assure you it's most likely 720p, if not lower. Some games run at lower than 720p (and are therefore sub-HD) and GTAIV was one of those games. (along with very CoD game) Running at 1080p is a fucking joke on the PS3 and 360, there's a reason only less graphically intensive games run at it.
Except that looking through all my brother's PS3 games, the only one he has that lists 1080p on the back is Katamari. Why would they list if the hardware can output to 1080p on the back of a box for software?
