If you really want to keep this argument going, take it to PMs. I'm done posting in the thread about it. I already said I was done with shitting up the thread, so if you want to keep beating a dead horse we can do it somewhere else.
We need to petition Kojima to end this silly hoax and release a real PC version, why must he mock us like this?
Y'know, if they really wanted to draw in a huge number of players who have never touched the MGS franchise because they have never had a Sony console, they should find a way to release the previous games. That way, they can double their playerbase and their profit. "Play the original games before playing the new Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain! All of them available on Steam in a promotional price... for now!"
It's not impossible. I know that MGS2 has a PC release.

MGS1 too, and it still work on Win7, it has some issues with FMVs however.
Yeah, and I'm sure Kojima's lawyers will come out shortly and say "What he meant to say was something else, and the Steam page was a communication error between our marketing department and Steam. We apologize for the inconvenience."
This shit is too good to be true. That makes me suspicious.
Please not be the complete collection, and instead give us the Gamecube versions of 1&2, as well as giving us 3, 4, and Peace Walker.

HAHA OOPS, todd, look at what i accidentally did here at this here kojipro office web design/whatever computer! i accidentally spilled my coffee and assembled not one, but two fully functional steam store pages with dozens of images and video, and short descriptions of the games.
haha, todd, this is almost as wacky as the mistake hideo and his crew made when he was on stage where the box the modelers made glitched out and coincidentally spelled out valve's copyrighted STEAM logo, and then kojima stammered a bit and accidentally said "coming to steam!" in japanese, and his english translator accidentally said the same thing in english!
haha, wow. what a hoot.

good thing we've got magical lawyers that can just erase all this because we don't like money.
So fucking pumped for this. I took a gamble on MGS4 when I bought my PS3, having never played a single MGS game in the past, and now I think MGS is one of my favorite video game series. So excited that I won't have to get a PS4 to play this.

Im sorry, are you implying they port Twin Snakes instead of vanilla MGS1?
How dare you.

What makes the Twin Snakes remake worse than the original, actually?

People complain about that adding mgs2 features made some fights easy.

The MGS 2 gameplay didn't go good with the MGS 1 level design. (made it easier)
Voice acting was worse compared to the original.
Cutscenes were completely over the top even for Metal Gear standards.

There is no gamecube edition of MGS 2 and even if, it would be almost identical with the HD release or the old PC release.
Also MGS4 is never going to happen outside of a Sony Console.
