I think the more limited settings in 4 will actually help that, because they can probably just load the entire section and run it so the entire segment is lively vs. just where you're looking.

Honestly I wish more games did this kind of thing. It's just a neat little addition to games. For instance, owning Just Cause 2 gives you an outfit in Sleeping Dogs. (though I won't get in to the mess that is sleeping dogs dlc)

And then you can do really mindtrippy things like when Psycho Mantis in Metal Gear "reads your mind" by reading your save files.
