A group known as XOF (fox backwards, naked snake/big bosses former speciol ops unit) seems to have kidnapped some people who know things, and they're holding paz [sp] AKA pacifica ocean, the cipher informant and final boss/pilot of metal gear zeke in MGS Peace Walker, who survive the launch into the ocean[/sp] and big boss/naked snake, who is solid snakes clone daddy, goes in to get her out.
The scarred man and his small crew are [sp]cipher operatives[/sp] at least that's the most reasonable explanation.
Not to be a downer or anything but I found it a bit weird that with graphics as amazing as this Snake wasn't covered in mud after crawling on the ground
You know what would be neat? If at the end, big boss ends up recruiting the bosses that would appear in the first/second metal gear into outer heaven/msf
i wonder how many times they'll say "nanomachines" THIS time
What if the kid turns out to be Solid/Liquid? What's his name? AFAIK, it's not David... [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline] Hmm. The article claims that it'll function as a giant prologue to MGS5. So... MGS5=MG1 remake? We're getting too damn close to 1995, which is MG1. [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline]
i wonder how many times they'll say "nanomachines" THIS time
Dude. That's a 11 year old complaint that has since been almost eradicated in the following titles.

Wait wait wait. I never played peace walker yet, but did [sp]Foxhound not get founded by Boss and Miller in the end of the game?[/sp] Also. about the mud. He's not really nitpicky since mud has been clinging to snake since MGS3. But it's pissing down in goddamn flagpoles, nothing would stick in that weather.
I can't imagine what they did to get this running on something comparable to current consoles.
I love MGS. [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline]
I can't imagine what they did to get this running on something comparable to current consoles.
It was run on a high end PC.
i wonder how many times they'll say "nanomachines" THIS time
None probably. Nanomychins were only getting started during the Shadow Moses incident, on Metal Gear Solid. And even then you don't hear it that much. On GotP however...
It was founded [sp]at the end of portable ops, with roy campbell[/sp]
Are you sure? I though he currently ran Soldiers sans Frontiers. Foxhound is meant to be a bit later, right? [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline] I mean. There are tons of hints in MGS1,2,4 that Foxhound originally only had one generation of soldiers and that the original members were there from start to when Big Boss went apeshit. This means it could at best have ben started between 85 and 90 since the twin snakes are born in 70/71 and it all went apeshit in 95.
Here's an extended gameplay video from IGN. http://www.ign.com/videos/2012/09/01/metal-gear-solid-ground-zeroes-extended-14-minute-demo
BIG BOSS FUCK YES! A direct sequel to Peacewalker, I AM BOTH SATISFIED AND AMAZED!
Never seen an avatar fitting so perfectly into the context of the post. I am thrilled aswell, Peace Walker was one of my favorite MG games and having that story continuing is just awesome.
