I just want another game like LOTR War in the north, that combat was satisfying.
You know what, even if it's Middle Earth creed, it looks the tits and seemingly will have a decent replay value considering what you can do to the characters.
Looks rather nice, I just hope combat doesn't get stale like it does in AC.
Animations are definitely reminiscent of AC, but you can't really copyright human movements, right?
Apparently they are from AC2, according to the guy that made the animations for AC2.
of course its not canon the guy is a fucking half ring wraith with magical powers, its totally a piss on tolkiens low magic story theme, not even gandalf used that much power in three books. its fine as its own game but its not tolkien mythology
wraiths exist in tolkiens universe all ringwraiths are wraiths not all wraiths are ringwraiths [editline]24th January 2014[/editline] this is actually in the silmarillion
this is actually in the silmarillion
Where?
Where?
It's a collection of stories and facts about Middle Earth. Mostly (or completely?) written by JRR Tolkien himself. I really recommend this addon by the way (when you're not on a phone/tablet): https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-dictionary-by-goog/mgijmajocgfcbeboacabfgobmjgjcoja
I based this off of the wiki citations.
Of all the examples of wraiths I saw, becoming some sort of lesser Ringwraith is the only thing that sort of makes sense for him to get magical powers, and even then him having free will is kind of an asspull.
Animations are definitely reminiscent of AC, but you can't really copyright human movements, right?
To be fair, it is pre alpha. They probably used them as placeholders. If it were beta footage, then i'd be worried.
What if the twist is you never had free will but couldn't tell?
Only if I get to beat Sauron with a golf club.
What if the twist is you never had free will but couldn't tell?
No john you are the nazgul! And then you were the witch-king....honestly I wouldn't mind if the game ended with you turning into one of the nine.
Only if I get to beat Sauron with a golf club.
Would you kindly take the ring to Mordor?
What if the twist is you never had free will but couldn't tell?
This seems like a very logical twist. From the gameplay shown the wraith seems to be a lot more excited about stuff than the main character.
