What gunplay is there to fix? CoD has had great gunplay since the first game. It's fast, responsive, twitch when you want it to be but also accurate.
There's just something about it that makes the guns absolutely horrible to use, Honestly i can't put my finger on it but there is something greatly wrong with it.

pff sounds more like user bias.

Lower recoil than most games, which kind of makes sense because a trained soldier is going to be able to hold their gun

all the snipers still suffer from very bad asthma though.
The only one that got the balance right, with the exception of grenade launcher attachments and martyrdom.
i dont get the martyrdom issue, it's extremely easy to move out of the way of a grenade and if you can't then just toss it away from you
Call of Duty 4 also had those 64 player games.
on shipment, that was glorious.
this free weekend makes me want to play some cod4, it is a great game
im sorry dawg but MW2 is by far the most unbalanced video game i have ever loaded onto a computer
MW2 wasn't terrible. It was just rehashed and didn't live up to the expectations the series lay. I'd pay $10 for it.
Well then, get it at Amazon for $5 while the offer lasts
eh, also 3x frag.
And the P90.
And the helicopters that were incredibly hard to kill.

And stopping power and juggernaut.

No recoil, every weapon feels the same
nvm you were talking about MW2... i thought you meant MW3
if it's as unoptimized as blops then fuck it
It doesn't stutter every ten seconds and the framerate is pretty high and consistent even on not-so-great machines.

can't hold their breath for more than 10 seconds but they can jump, do a 360, and headshot you across the map while firing from the hip
I think that we should get a group of people together and play and have fun
It's 14gb because you have to download the full game (singleplayer, spec ops, et all) just to play the MP. Even though CoD games split themselves up in your Steam list, the SP and MP are both the same (just a different launch exe).
So that's why you have to download 14gb of game. I'll play the free-weekend, because CoD multiplayer is a fun casual thing, but I'll skip buying this one. I'll probably buy another one down the road. I had my fun with Black Ops, but honestly it wasn't worth $60 for just 50 hours of MP alone.
I paid close to $30 for MW3 at Christmas. Use CD-key sites.

I'm not really that keen on CD-Key sites, never used one but they all seem too shady. Who knows where the keys have come from or how they were obtained?

they are from most likely russia, as games over there are dirt-cheap

Just saw this image on CJ's CD Keys:

Yes, you're correct. Still too shady for my likings. Who knows if STEAM will deactivate all the Russian keys from people not in Russia or something along the lines?

They are russian keys 9 times out of 10 sold "open box"/wholesale which is why they are so cheap
Many games don't have region locking for CD keys so you can use russian keys in the US and etc. The most you'll have to do is change the language to english or something (what you had to do with BF3). There is litreally no risk in these situations, because they can't legally exclude to you from playing a russain version of a game, because for all they know you actually WERE in russian and bought it there. There's no way that they can prove you were not, really, and it's not worth the hassle for them, especially since people legitimately buy these keys from legit sellers and expect them to work like anything else.
The only case I've ever heard of where someone was banned, was when a person was actually in Russia, and did excessive gifting (presumably because he was taking money and selling them as gifts). Of course he wasn't doing it, and his ban was reversed, but Valve only try to stop people who gift russian versions of games to other people for money through them. If you are using a legitmatly purchased key from somewhere else, they don't give a shit.
Of course getting a russian key on a game that is region locked (most steamworks games, or games that require steam to play like Skyrim) means you'll need to use a russian VPN to play every time you start up the game.
Most CD key sites also sell a Euro key version too, usually cheaper than default price but still not nearly as cheap as russian.

yes, it is quite a shady buisness
but websites like intkeys.com have garnered quite a few positive reviews, and as said above, vpns are the only major problem
you're acting like bf3 is amazing.
trust me. it's nothing special.
Even Farming Simulator is amazing when compared to MW3, it's an original concept.
i already have mw2 and mw installed can they not just use the content from that rather than me [sub]reinstalling[/sub] downloading the new content?
im sorry dawg but MW2 is by far the most unbalanced video game i have ever loaded onto a computer
Which make it awesome.
Balance makes boring games. Try to kill people with underpowered and overpowered weapons and see how much fun you can get from that.
And you obviously haven't played MW3 then.
I wish they had made a REAL DLC pack and instead of doing MW3, they did MW2 + a dlc pack with maps from mw3 (but good maps, instead of the shit we have) and the weapons from the current.
For those who don't know, as predicted it's gone on sale for 33% off. Hasn't unlocked yet though, waiting for Valve to click a button.
