For all the people saying Ubisoft doesn't experiment and only milks their existing IPs here is another smaller project of theirs:
Ubisoft is a big company, there are plenty of unique games under the Ubisoft logo made by small teams
It was just announced, good lord...
Far Cry is turning into Call of Duty
It looks interesting and at least it's something new. I've always wanted a game like this, set it in the far past but with no magic and stuff like that.
I'm hoping it's not shit, but I'm certainly not pre-ordering or paying 60 euros for it. Provided it's not complete garbage I might pick it up from a sale eventually.
It's gonna be fun
But I won't buy shit from ubisoft. Unless it's some insane sale.
I bought Far Cry 3 for $7, and have no regrets, but I wouldn't have bought it at $60.

Going the same way of ass creed and the lot.
Far Cry should have stopped getting sequels several games ago.
Far Cry 4 was fucking great though.
Iterative as hell though, which is why I'm glad they're doing this. That said, I won't buy this.
I remember when games were 20€
You mean the other week when steam had one of those huge sales it has every couple of months?
I remember when games were 20€
New games were always this expensive, maybe even more (plenty of N64 games sold for £50+, PS1 games were £35-45)
£50 for this a joke tho
Far Cry 4 was fucking great though.

The characters and story were shit though
I remember when games were 20€
