They're addons to HL2, if anything.

You're very vague and sarcastic. I'm not sure if you're not purposely trying to sound sarcastic or not but it comes off that way. With messaging boards it's a little hard to tell people's tone. Why not just say, "HL2's episodes weren't sequel and here's why," or something.
