Looks wonderful one of the few games this year that looks genuinely funny
Seems definitely interesting. Nice graphics, unique gameplay with some very strange features.
Looks like a must buy. I love all the little features it has to it, like fighting and the like. Maybe it'll put GTA to shame for once.
I loved the Saints Row 1 and 2, this one looks to be even more awesome!

I fucking love this series, mainly for co-op. Honest to god, I loved playing with friends on SR2 and SR1. But the fucking leap in shit to do (and graphics, considering it's Saints Row) is astounding. I'm pre-ordering.
SR1 was like serious with some bits of plain silly shit thrown in, then SR2 got a lot more silly, now SR3 is just plain weird. I'd still buy it though because it looks crazy fun.

Yeah but the fun in SR2 was working your way up to that pimp cane shotgun that was devastating, if you had it from the beginning it'd get boring fast.

I don't mind getting a few hours of fun rather than a handful of hours of not-much-fun and then get my hour of fun.
I don't play sandbox games to work my way up, I play sandbox games to have some fucking fun. Either pull a GTA IV style of drama story on it or give me some fun straight away like GTA and GTA II (sure, you had to find the weapons, but they weren't far away, and much fun were had with cars alone).

Agreed. I cheated in SR2 to get the good weapons from the beginning and I thought it was more fun that way

Definitely got the hype to buy this, and use the Apocalypse fist on people and the people cannon, And the jet and OMG.

Saints Row 2 was like that too. Saints Row 3 seems to just be expanding on it. For example, here is something I did in SR2.

I think I get this, waiting for the next GTA would take way longer and I'm in the mood for something less serious

I love the craziness in this game. I hope like with SR2 the story is semi-serious though, I'm not too worried about how the missions work as such just as long as the storyline is not that stupid.
