• Bethesda teases next project, isn't Fallout

One one hand, I was really looking forward to another Fallout, but on the other hand I'm looking forward to any new IPs.
Doesn't Bethesda own S.T.A.L.K.E.R.?
yes
Fallout: Arena.
i'm hoping for some old fashioned alternate timeline goodness
Maybe it something to do with the 1940's concentration camps. Barbed wire and old records. :/
Bethesda makes games in which you can't even kill children so I wouldn't expect concentration camps.
It'd be optimal if Beth does this unexplored IP and let's Obsidian make (or help with) Fallout.
Did some googling of the record, came up with this: 35138. Planned Program Service. Program #416. Lang-Worth Feature Programs. With announcements, but open and close done live. 1. I Cannot Sing The Old Songs 2. Chanson de Florian 3. Dustman (Malloy) 4. Grandfather's Clock. The Moonbeam Trio (with organ and violin), George Shackley (director). 13:06. Audio condition: Excellent. Otherwise complete. I know more than enough info is listed in the article, but still
GOOD I'd rather not have Beth screw FO4 up.
Bethesda never screwed up any FO games. FO3 was completely different than what Fallout was supposed to be like, but it was still very fun! (albeit having many flaws) Also, Skyrim showed their HUGE leap of progress, so FO4 imo would be better than FO3.
It'd be optimal if Beth does this unexplored IP and let's Obsidian make (or help with) Fallout.
I doubt Obsidian will work for Bethesda again since the metacritic thing, and since they seem to be pretty successful being independent.
Wouldn't be surprised if they did a similar game like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Metro
Please don't run on Gamebryo
Please don't run on Gamebryo
Why would they keep using an old outdated engine that now has a successor with many improvements? (Creation Engine)
Why would they keep using an old outdated engine that now has a successor with many improvements? (Creation Engine)
But Creation Engine sucks too in terms of performance. If you turn off V-sync in Skyrim you'll get a ton of bugs, like physics bugs, time-scaling bugs etc.
Creation engine is still Gamebryo.
I'd personally go to their office and kiss the game directors's shoes if they will make a new Call of Cthulhu game.
But Creation Engine sucks too in terms of performance. I don't know why people think Bethesda would make a bad STALKER game. In fact, I'd be all over a STALKER game with Fallout-like game mechanics. It'd be ridiculously fun.
I doubt Obsidian will work for Bethesda again since the metacritic thing, and since they seem to be pretty successful being independent.
Werent they talking about doing a possible "new vegas 2" a few months ago? They did say they talk to Bethesda all the time.
To be honest, all i want from bethesda is an rpg that doesn't involve a nuclear aftermath setting or a mythical middle ages setting. New ideas please! New concepts! More interesting characters! More creative weapons! Every time a new IP is announced i have such high hopes for something completely innovative and fresh, not just gameplay wise, but from the very concept the game is based on. I'm excited for this, but I'm also concerned and come release time it just makes me think it could have been so much more.
i was hoping for fallout 4
you should make new videos you damn filthy ape
it's gotta be wasteland 2.
it's gotta be wasteland 2.
Already in the works for quote some time
Seems World war 2-ey.

if it is a ww2 kind of game, a 'the great escape' kind of game would be cool
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bethesda_Game_Studios http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Bethesda_Softworks_games My faith in their ability to make anything other than Fallout or Elder Scrolls games is limited. And really given how much of an improvement New Vegas was over F3, I don't even have a lot of faith in their ability to produce Fallout games.

Bethesdas main team has no idea how to handle lore once they get their hands on it. SO THERE WAS THIS FEV PROJECT IN CALIFORNIA THAT MADE SUPERMUTANTS, BUT THEY TOTALLY ARE IN THE EAST COAST TOO!

Anyway it's not like that can't be fixed with just changing health and damage values.
It's Skyricochet 2.
