Valve will no longer return in-game Steam items to scam victims

The only time I got scammed was TF2 earbuds for a copy of skyrim that got revoked because it was on a credit card that didn't work or something, but I got my earbuds back anyway so it was basically a rented Skyrim.

I got my account hijacked the other week, and without being notified by email at all, my steam email was changed and steamguard was turned off. Luckily, none of my items got stolen, since the scammer forgot to accept the trade offer
