How Borderlands 2's Mechromancer adds difficulty levels to the game

So they're charging 16AUD for the ability to change the difficulty of the game? Haha, fuck off Gearbox.
i cant read for shit either
There's no way to change the difficulty in the game by itself, this new character has skill trees that are basically an easy mode, hard mode and normal mode. That's DLC that lets you choose the difficulty level of the game. And they're charging money for it.

Maybe you should do a little bit more reading than the shacknews article title chief.
Anarchy lowers your accuracy but increases your damage by 1.75% for both stats on every gun. It's best with Hyperion guns because you still have great accuracy after firing for a little while. However, once you get 150 stacks, you're about as inaccurate as a Hyperion shotgun without shooting.
Not to mention prematurely reloading your gun also drops every stack.
But then you get Discord and hooooly shit it is amazing. Discord grants you accuracy, health regen, and bonus damage (based on your stack) if you prematurely reload. Instead of dropping your Anarchy stack instantly, it just drops it by like 5 every second. So you get all that sweet anarchy stack and accuracy to boot. And the best part is, if you prematurely reload again, you turn it off and your stack stops dropping and you keep whatever is left and you can rebuild on it again. Mechromancer is fucking amazing.
I find it strange to hear "difficulty" in a game with pretty much no penalty for death. Maybe there's people who ironmode this stuff? I dunno, death always felt like a mild inconvenience to me.

This is the most ignorant thing I have read pertaining to Borderlands 2. For starters they are not charging to change the difficulty, everyone had more than enough time to get the Mechromancer for free by preordering the game. The game does adjust it's difficulty in real time depending on certain variables, amount of players. That last bunch of stuff you said is far off from how it works, that would just be stupid. Read before you spew garbage.

tbh it is annoying to die and lose $50,000 to revive

If youre fighting an enemy and die when playing singleplayer, they go up to full health
it makes it so fucking hard sometimes
There are some real difficulty spikes in Borderlands 2. Everything is pretty fair up until Doc Mercy, that's when you start to get your ass kicked incredibly hard. And then there's that super badass constructor fight, badass corrosive skags (Always had so much trouble with them) and threshers.
I had a tougher time fighting a badass pyre thresher than I did the final boss.
I love how they referr to the Gaige as a Girlfriend-mode with skills like "Potent as a Pony" and "20% cooler"
Just Awesome.
