When does the game unlock? Says the Australian 'low violence' version comes out in over a month, but the season pass comes out in a couple days.

Quick question: Has Saints Row always been this god damn wacky? I haven't gotten in to the series, but I remember watching my brother play SR1/2 - and it looked a lot like a GTA clone. It looks fun - but more of cheap fun than challenging fun.

The first game was a strange GTA clone that partially took itself seriously, partially didn't. The second one was a bit more over-the-top while still having serious moments, and was.. Darker while still having plenty of humor. The third game went down the vulgar and whacky route to try and give the series its own identity, with dildo bats and running around naked with a mascot head on as you throw farts in a jar at people from a floating hoverbike. The humor was questionable, to say the least, and not all fans liked the change. SR4 seems to try and take the insanity further, but tone down the gross parts in favor of the crazy-awesome parts, but I can't say for sure.

[editline]19th August 2013[/editline] It appears like SR4 is supposed to be a combination of SR2 and SR3 as for that matter. Semi serious yet super wacky. And I'd be alright with that.
