I swear to fucking god if the name of the game in Steam is literally called 'Resident Evil 4 / Biohazard 4" I am going to bust an anger vessel. I'm totally okay with having the game named differently in different regions, but it looks fucking horrible and messy when I see it in my games list or seeing friends playing it. It was ridiculous enough with Revelations' title inexplicably being incredibly long - "Resident Evil Revelations / Biohazard Revelations UE" Goddamnit Capcom, pick a name. Resident Evil 5 didn't have this, why are they doing it all of a sudden? Why can't they figure out what region you're playing in and change the name accordingly? Grr smash
Do you like it when I play METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE?
The textures don't look that improved at all in the screenshots. The environment textures look the same and only certain characters looked like they even had new textures. I hope those screenshots weren't final.

I've never played this, so it'll be perfect.
Just finished this for the first time on the Wii version, would be super excited for this if I hadn't. Amazing game though.
Quite happy with this recent trend of Japanese games coming out on the PC, especially with them making it a point in their marketing to essentially say "the port is NOT SHIT!"
Is it going to be based off the terrible PS2 version again, instead of the Gamecube one?
Anyone got $19.99? Cause im broke.
Why are people okay with buying a game again because the one they released before was a broken mess?
Because the game does a little more than fixing the old version. That and I am sure that there are many people that want a PC version of this game that can be found easily. I would much rather buy a version guaranteed to work at cheaper price digitally than having to go looking for a physical copy online.
this is like one of those weird nerdy dreams i have, then i wake up and i'm like it's too bad that would never happen because this wish is far too specific to me. but it is happening

As long as the cutscenes are realtime and not pre-rendered so Leon doesn't magically change out of his RPD uniform all the time I'll be happy.
Do you like it when I play METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE?
No no, I just don't see why Capcom needs to put the title twice. It looks ugly. Please, oh please have Dynamic Shadows. That would be the best addition visually.
Cutscenes aren't realtime, but I believe they're 1080p now or something close to it.
Motherfuckers. If the Gamecube could handle realtime cutscenes there's no reason for them to be pre-rendered on PC.

Some cut scenes, such as those from the Separate Ways content introduced with the PS2 version, were only captured in video. Aside from that, movies such as the opening CGI movie are naturally upscaled from the original 2005 release (again, same with all other versions).
