Given they potentially get money out of it with sharkcards, they should REALLY up their game.
Also the freeroam mode could not be something they hosted themselves, so that expense then isn't something they'd worry about.

But it's true, because Rockstar failed to implement an anti-cheat service that works. Everyone is just riding around in their armored karumas and trolling each other at this point with their speedhacks and aimbots.

Not dead, but dying. As of the current Steam stats, more people played [B]Civilization V[/B] than GTA V (SP and/or MP) today, and are playing it right now. Now, Civ V is on sale right now, that's true, but it's been maintaining consistent numbers:

Steam is only one platform for GTA V PC, and then there are the consoles, sure, but for such a popular game, a downward trend when you're already below Civ V is not a good sign.

GTA is already above Civ when you look at the monthly average, without even counting non-Steam players.
