i dont understand why game news websites do articles like these "here have links to other articles we already wrote" it's non-news
It's olds. 'We do have news, but here's a page to connect you to yesterday's olds'
Yeah but they're saying a 10-hour game you didn't enjoy is worth its price, and that's retarded. I could understand if they said something like 50 hours because if I played it for that long it means I somewhat enjoyed it, otherwise I would have stopped after a few hours. But I could force myself to spend 10 hours on a meh game hoping it'll gets better as the story progresses and it would be a waste of money if it doesn't.
Ah. That's what I get for skimming over the article. That's just fucking wrong then. Sure, there are people who will eat up any game that releases. If I didn't enjoy it myself though, then no, I did not get my money's worth. It doesn't matter what my friend thought of it when he was playing it, it matters how I felt when I played it. He got his money worth, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth and 60$ short of my wallet. There are fairly long games I do play that I don't enjoy JUST because I'm trying to milk it for it's content but I still can't really justify those either. If I have to trudge through something after a certain point, I didn't get full value.
I dropped 30 dollars on ArmA and next thing I knew I have like 300 hours on it "I've been playing some old games" lists Bioshock and Mass Effect
Those "old games" are still more retro than Fez.
Only two of the games he mentioned are over five years old. Old games my ass. What an idiot.
