I honestly can't deny them their UPlay. Unlike Origin, it's not sustained by exclusive titles, it's slowly trying to trying to become a Steam competitor. The $1 sales were pretty crazy for example. That's the kind of healthy competition I can get behind, tho ATM Steam's way ahead in terms of services offered. Yeah it's an additional click on a "Play" button between you and your game, but it would be unfair to say yes to Steam and no to UPlay just because one is more popular and you've gotten used to it being in the background.
Eh to be honest, I kind of like uplay. It doesn't get in the way and you only have to launch it once if you want to play the game and it HAS A PROPER OFFLINE MODE, something which even steam can't do.
I honestly hate it. Been trying to play Hawx2 lately and it says It can download the game data...despite it being installed already and that I've played it before there big massiave update thingy.
