Serious? The fact that it was the sequel to Half-Life, Game of the Year 1998 means nothing to you?
Can't expect everyone to be in the know about game news/awards. I didn't even play videogames until I found gmod.

There was a note that came with it too that said something like, "In America when someone makes a lot of money a short period of time we say they're wearing a 'money hat', so we've decided to send you a literal hat of money - Valve"
next they should send a cape made of money. and once you hit a mark higher than any other game, money tux and matching pants.
Garrysmod seems to be a pretty good example of iterating over the same idea over and over and just improving things constantly.
Garry go show off your wealth on humble THQ bundle. Pleeeeeeeeeease..
Gmod is the reason my steam account was born
Garry you fucking glorious man
If I was a millionaire I would make Facewound 2 as a sourcemod or maybe gamemode, but that's just me.

I remember being very hyped for Gmod 10 back in summer 2006

And I bugged our dad to figure out how to install addons.
I guess my total hours for gmod speak for itself, thanks garry.
I still remember playing Gmod 9, then seeing Gmod selling on Steam and thought I had accidentally downloaded a pirated version of Gmod. :v:
Money well spent

I wonder what Garry will be doing next that isn't Gmod related. Seeing how he just released the new gmod.

6 years ago Garry Newman stole from JBMod blatantly. Now he's a huge success.

Oh the memories.
This makes me feel old.
Garrysmod was the catalyst for getting me into PC gaming in general.
Got it on Easter in 2008. Probably the best game I have ever played as the possibilties are endless.
Happy B-day Gmod!
