They sell patches as standalone games, its buggy and you have to close it after a hour or two because of performance issues.

One side of me doesn't want to support EA and their particular choice of DRM.
Yet, the other side figures I always have a stable connection, I have the money, and at the end of the day EA being a shitty company doesn't really affect me that much.

You can sign up for the beta just like the first one. But if you manage to pre-order the digital edition of the game then you'll be given an instant spot when the beta arrives.
