Platinum-ing Talos Principle without help. It took weeks, and then when I got to Gehenna and realized there was no curve, I got really frustrated. Albeit an add-on, its difficulty continues where the full game left off. It's the perfect example of a game that requires you to break every convention you thought was essential. Thankfully, our generation was practically fed the idea of boundary breaking games. From hidden portions of levels in Banjo and Prefect Dark, to noclipping to the skybox in UT2k4 or HL2. The urge to find a ledge to glitch-jump over is strong and consuming. Its what got me through(what I maintain is a mediocre shooter) Bioshock Infinite. And what took me 20+ hours to complete DOOM 2016.
If you could give me to a barebones synopsis to the lore I would really appreciate it. I think I have a rough understanding of CHIM. It means the world of elder scrolls is some higher beings dream right? And because of that and some event involving dragons every bit of lore can be considered canon
the 'everything is canon' is a narrative specifically from kirkbride's c0da https://www.c0da.es/ which was released after kirkbride parted ways with bethesda. it is reasonable to argue it's not actually part of elder scrolls, however, kirkbride being the man behind most of the lore pre-skyrim most people accept it. CHIM (if you want to read more on things that relate to it, http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:CHIM ) in a very simple explanation is basically ultimate knowledge/enlightenment with reality as you know it and breaking free from laws and limitations of mortal men. you could compare CHIM to neo from the matrix, to give it a reference. the dragon event you're referring to is probably the dragon break, which is a reference to multiple events in elder scrolls history, and it's the in universe explanation of when linear time gets meddled with by either powerful magic or superhuman intervention. the particular exact details change depending on each break
I infiltrated the top empire in a Shores of Hazeron game and acted as a mole for 6 months. Fake name, fake email, fake IRC ID. Stole ships, blueprints, tech, sent the higher ups on a wild goose chase across 6 systems and painted them as brutal warlords by convincing them to nuke 3 noob empires because one of them -might- have decided to de-orbit a shipyard or two. I ended up psychologically screwing with one guy so badly that to this day he blocks me instantly the moment he sees my name on any game, forum, or site.
Any time I get a good pipe-bomb kill in Duke3D, or a well placed grenade in Halo. Aside from that, most of my moments like that come from modding a game, moreso than playing it. I shat bricks the first time I got my own BSP to work in Halo: Custom edition, same for when I got my own custom animated props into the source engine for a map I was making.

Whenever I fool people in MP games that pass by me without noticing me
When I built this after hours of figuring out maths and C#.
Solving the obelisk "puzzle" in Might & Magic 6: Mandate of Heaven when I was like 12, only to find out I had already looted the treasure it points to by complete accident.
Figuring out how to beat Touhou games on hard. Especially when I figure out a really difficult spellcard Or in TF2 when I did really well as spy
Destroying a Corp in Eve online from the inside by recruiting a member to my corp that had privileges to all the gear/ships/money that the corporation had. And being able to watch the whole corp go to shit once they realized all their stuff was gone without them ever even knowing I was involved (and that I was in a hauler ship carrying all their shit at once)
Space Station 13.
Figuring out how to hack the computer system on goon was also pretty cool, because it pretty much gives me an all access ID every round no matter my job as well as the ability to do whatever with the shuttle as long as I have access to a terminal.
Getting to places you weren't supposed to with platforming always feels good
Please tell me this is all written up somewhere.
I wish. The thing about the romp through the galaxy was somewhat recorded here http://hazeron.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=643 The two "griefers" listed were actually two friends of mine, doing the same shit I was mind you, causing shit. My mole character grabbed a ship belonging to my host empire and I flew out to another system where they were and picked them up. We flew back to the capital system and I let them onboard one of our shipyards. The empire they had infiltrated was neutral to me so they had basic access to everything. They stole a couple of ships, one flew to another station, and then one EVA'd to the station's orbital engines and yanked the power coupling on them, causing one station to de-orbit into the planet. The other one stole a ship and exploited a bug at the time where as a neutral empire you could still use bridge consoles without formally 'capturing' a ship, thus offering basic control of almost any ship. Of course while they're doing this I'm screaming bloody murder on IRC and two people show up to help. One was the guy who still hates me 6 years later. They grabbed a battleship and requested an update and we 'investigated', learned where my friends came from and gave chase. One of them posted that thread up there before the leader could show up and tell them to shut their mouths because they didn't need any more bad publicity. I can't remember if this was before or after half my empire was outed as being alt-exploting war-starting pirates...

That's some hardcore stuff.
Is that even legal according to the TOS? That's some hardcore stuff.
100% acceptable in-game activity. Damn near encouraged even.
