Did you read the article? Critical damage is a threshold, not a random number.
That's a fucking dice roll, dude
So how many games have you played again? Cause last time i checked, theres plenty of games out the with magical creatures and other crap which doesn't exist
You just gotta believe!
Life is based on random chance, btw. God does roll dice with the universe
Remember that time when you barely missed slamming your unprotected foot into a metal beam? That's because God rolled for dodge you got a natural 20.
That's a fucking dice roll, dude
How in the fuck is that a dice roll? Are you saying that counting to six is a lucky dice roll? Because it's not.
That's a fucking dice roll, dude
no, it's a SET NUMBER that causes the vehicle to be disabled when it crosses.
I'm not convinced real vehicles get disabled for a few moments with 'direct' hits.
i'm not convinced that a group of 32 soldiers only differ physically in 4 ways and can all run at the exact same speed regardless of how capable they are and how they all have the exact same understanding of military vehicles and weapons and operate them exactly the same way every time they need to reload. suspension of disbelief is kind of required for videogames
I'm not convinced real vehicles get disabled for a few moments with 'direct' hits.
I know, that's such a load of bullshit! I'll be getting back to watching the real war where America's armed forces place C4 on enemy armor and blow themselves up along with it, and then re-materialize on a carrier offshore so they can take one of the many vehicles that reassemble themselves on an atomic level after being blown to bits while the enemy attempts to use mines to launch soldiers riding dirtbikes into high altitudes to get behind them.
Battlefield is one of the furthest games from "realistic" i've ever played.
That's what makes it so much fun though.
Can you customize you player yet?
Glad to hear this. I'm tired of seeing "Vehicle Disabled" in Battlefield 3 and seeing the bastard still move around and fire like nothing was wrong (despite being on fire).
Knife in BF4 actually makes you unreviveable.
That would make it even harder to play You know what, they should only allow people to be revived, ONCE. And players cannot revive team mates that was killed with a head shot, knife attack and burned to death with flame thrower.
Revive should be once until you get a kill (or complete an objective I suppose). That would be a nice balance. I don't really get the knife thing, though it makes knifing someone actually worthwhile, where as currently you're likely to miss multiple times even though it should have hit and then get killed because they noticed you and you could have just shot him. (I haven't played in a while, it could be fixed)
So how many games have you played again? Cause last time i checked, theres plenty of games out the with magical creatures and other crap which doesn't exist
Yeah but atleast in most fantasy RPGs there aren't explosions every 2 seconds and people dying over and over again. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, i'm just saying people need to stop talking about how realistic BF3 is when it's not at all
