So happy Postal 2 got on. Now more people will get to play the best stress reliever ever, and hopefully RWS can make a proper Postal 4
Yea, fuck the Russians fucking with my beloved Postal
pc master race my balls we have just as many kids and idiots as consoles do
He was not saying anything contradictory to that, nor implying anything along the lines of 'pc master race'.
He was not saying anything contradictory to that, nor implying anything along the lines of 'pc master race'.
I know. But one of the arguments for PC over console is that we have a "more mature fanbase". It isn't true.
I have yet to see my favorite game, Faceless, get greenlit. It's my absolute favorite title. I mean, just LOOK at this gameplay trailer!
Yogventures, seriously?
They have a large fanbase sadly, I'm sure if you put CoD on greenlight and spread word among its community they'd get enough people together to greenlight it.
Still waiting for Sang-Froid to get greenlit... :v:
No receiver, slightly disappointed.
ya but cod is already an established game series i mean, this is literally a game about 2 autistic brits who happen to have a fanbase because they cashed in on the minecraft craze
The point is to some people they're a famous name, famous among idiots, but still famous.
Vote for Shantae because reasons. I won't lie, it's not the greatest game ever or anything. But it is a really fun little Metroidvania, and god damn it you can transform into animals by bellydancing.
Postal 2 is an awesome addition. I'm definitely going to be installing the mod that combines AW with the main game and adds a bunch of other shit. Seriously, if you didn't cheat just to have all weapons and such in Postal 2 and kill everyone, you don't know how to have fun. I haven't looked over Giana Sisters as much as I should sadly but what I've seen looked good. Hopefully NeoTokyo has improved. The concept was good but the execution as a mod was rough. The Stanley Parable will be awesome and hilarious like the first one. Interstellar Marines should be good. I played a little of their early alpha stuff a while ago and it wasn't bad. [editline]15th October 2012[/editline] And I still want to see Centration added. Last I saw it is supposed to be Space Station 13 in a 3D environment. Which is as frightening as it is amazing of a concept.
When are we actually going to see more than 1 game put on to Steam fully? Black mesa is practically complete and NMRiH is done too, but where are they?
When are we actually going to see more than 1 game put on to Steam fully? Black mesa is practically complete and NMRiH is done too, but where are they?
Probably integrating Steamworks features. And I think there's plenty of paperwork too.
Mad props Royzo. Still think you should've made the thread for your game in GGD and not GD.
I might patch that in post-release.
I might patch that in post-release.
Oh, you.
Best thing about yogventures, according to its official page. It will be 30 dollars :v:
Air Bucaneers is pretty fun.
Shit was cash in UT2004.
From what I've been seeing on twitter, there is a lot of hate on Postal 2, which is a bit absurd; I mean, sure, its not the best game on there (Plenty of games should have been on there, and P2 wasn't one of the high ones), but it isn't a bad game, and it can be really fun if you have the right mindset, and for what it will contain will have a long play-life. Still though, I have to agree that there are quite a few games that would be better than a 8-10 year old game; La-Mulana, DLC Quest, and a few others, all of which are much more fit for this system. Still, I see no bad with this game being on steam and getting a few updates.
Octodad was accepted. Greenlight's purpose is now fulfilled; you may all return home and get on with your lives.
Postal 3 was horrendous.
From the Greenlight page;
Q: Wait, POSTAL III was not made by RWS? A: No, it was licensed to a Russian publisher and developer who were supposed produce the game to our design, with a much bigger team and budget than we had for POSTAL 2. Sadly it didn’t work out very well.
So even they agree it was REALLY shitty.
Q: But I have this on another service, why would I need it here? A: If you have Postal 2 elsewhere and enjoyed it, then help give others the chance to be exposed to it too! It also really helps RWS and our efforts to bring you guys a real new Postal game (Postal III does not count).

Q:Is this just a quick, cheap cash in for an old game you no longer support? A: Not at all, we plan to give some support to POSTAL 2 as it's effectively being re-released, making sure there are official MP servers back up, and also patches to include things such as Widescreen support and also adding achievements. Also, after the disaster that was PIII due to the mistake of outsourcing it, we have decided to make the next game 100% in house.
Oh boy, Octodad!
I can't wait to pick up Neotokyo again.
"reasons" :v:
REASONS. [editline]15th October 2012[/editline]
I feel ya brother. Because, nude Shantae, why not?
that's a subpar shop. her skin is ever so slightly lighter on her face than on her body and it's really irksome. [sp]it's funny 'cause i'm gay[/sp]
Yay now i can have a fully legit copy of postal 2. I bought the game from RWS themselves online and they gave me a key but they used a god awful authorization program called Softwrap at the time and the program was infamous for not working and labeling keys as fake. Still bought the game though, i'll gladly buy it again for all the updates they're planning for it. Postal 2 was such a great game and also badly made in all the right ways to make it even better.
oh, okay then
Yea, russians ruin everything to make it worse, they are refusing to release the mod tools, though i did manage to compile a map for p3 in the css version of hammer, problem is is that you cannot use any entities or anything so no civilians to kill :saddowns:
Blockscape...what... And yogventures too? Aww come on steam.
Yogventures, seriously?
Yogcast gets at least 500k+ views per video. Over half their audience is 13 and under. I'm not surprised at all.
