I haven't been invited yet but for some reason I'm getting the feeling this might actually take on facebook.
how can i get in?
:tinfoil: Google's taking over I tells ya!
:tinfoil: Google's taking over I tells ya!
As long as they're doing it in a better way than facebook, I'm in. [editline]30th June 2011[/editline] Both in terms of service and privacy and usability.
Great, just what we needed. Another fake verb people walk around saying. "I'll just GooglePlus you." What happened to just going to your friend's house?

What the fuck is Facebook? Ya'll too social on the E's.
I barely find a point in Facebook anymore. I don't like any of my Facebook friends, and I just use steam to contact the people I want to talk to.
This is good because it has something everyone uses behind it, Google. I mean the search engine, not the company.
Goddamn it why can't I be invited
You do realize that if people start using buzz there's going to be ads and scams there as well, right?
Unless you're stupid and actually add advertisers to your contacts list, you won't have to deal with them. Same with the scams, only your close friends will be having conversations with you.
What really irritates me about the whole social boom is that companies think it needs to be in fucking everything. That every website I go to I'm going to want to connect to my Facebook or every backstab I perform in TF2 I'll want to tell everyone about it. A lot of new games are promoting social networking, but fuck man sometimes I just want to sit and roll around in Oblivion or something by myself and be alone.

This will probably fail miserably, but who knows?
I got in a few hours ago. Not sure what to think of it. None of my other friends have access to it yet.
Watching youtube videos with a group of friends on this is pretty entertaining
i like the interface better than facebook
gj
 Can't wait for it to be accessible by everyone. Definitely going to make an account.
Another shit social networking site ill be forced by my friends to make an account for. God dammit.
Much better than Facebook, the circles idea was brilliant.
I dont know, I'm already attached to facebook. It's like suddenly moving into a new home and you gotta make sure you grab all your things when you do. But if I'm right, people are gonna go "Ah what the hell lemme' see this." sign up and eventually more people start drifting over there.
usually when i'm in a scenario like this i just use both so i'd naturally choose whichever is the best alternative
Another shit social networking site ill be forced by my friends to make an account for. God dammit.
Oh god forbid you have to put in your Email. Its like signing up for Facepunch.
I'm sure as hell not signing up for this. Although Chrome is easily the best Internet browser in terms of speed and convenience, I no longer use it because Google secretly does shit without you knowing. And I'm not about to hand over my personal information to them anytime soon.
What the fuck is Facebook? Ya'll too social on the E's.
You've been living under a rock.
I'll use it just to get away from facebook. Although I doubt it will be much better. Facebook may sell your information but google catalogs it for more direct web marketing. Kinda creepy actually.
I hate facebook, I try to link my friend to a document on zhost.tk and facebook blocks my link saying users reported that link for spam. It tells me to contact them if I think its a mistake. I contact them and after I submit my message it says I'll get a reply soon. It's been 6 months and I won't get a reply. Fbook should letme send whatever the fuck I want to my friends and if they don't like it, defriend me.
Google+ will be mostly people, like Facepunchers, trying to get the hell away from Facebook. Facebook will just be for "normal people."
