There's porn on TPB?

Yeah it's on the front page if you have an account.
Apparently the term "in moderation" is lost upon them.
Also, there's a big difference between freedom of speech and borderline sexual harassment.

So they use magnet links and peer-to-peer connections instead of servers to host content?
It's akin to people judging Facepunch by the OIFY.
That's one of the better ways to judge it.
Due to the way it's structured, it thrives as a selective exposure site. There is only one main reddit. The rest are subreddits you can subscribe or unsubscribe from. If you don't like it, just don't subscribe.
The main subreddits are /r/pics, /r/funny, /r/atheism, /r/politics, /r/reddit, /r/IAMA, and /r/videos. Those are the defaults you get, you can unsubscribe from all or none of those, but given those are defaults, those pages will get the normal millions of subscribers by design. The rest is up to the users to share and find on their own. That flexibility is why it's rather popular, you can make your own forum in seconds and develop a community of its own, and since there isn't an easy directory besides people sharing the subreddit, you stay relatively concentrated with fans.

Both sites need a big giant warning. But Reddit itself is independent of imgur. They share some moderators and it's run by a user of reddit, but all they share is a sort of symbiotic relationship.
Imgur hosts it, Reddit shows it. Both of those cases, it's the users who provide the content.
Although r/atheism really shouldn't be a default subreddit.
So they use magnet links and peer-to-peer connections instead of servers to host content?
what? Are you seriously not getting what i meant?
Although r/atheism really shouldn't be a default subreddit.
No one disagrees. One of the main reason people make an account is to unsubscribe from it.
I always thought /r/atheism was a parody.
Why does Reddit look like it's from the 80's, it has a terrible layout/design

Check out SomethingAwful then.
Web 1.0 boyee
Because there are shittons of non-creepy, fun, and useful subreddits? Don't judge a website by a small portion of it's users. It's akin to people judging Facepunch by the OIFY.
[sp]VA, the dude in the article, had the third highest karma on reddit[/sp]
Ill judge all I want
