Curious.. but what makes EYE so praise worthy?
fever dreams: the game, possibly one reason.
Curious.. but what makes EYE so praise worthy?
simultaneously fails spectacularly in some areas and succeeds spectacularly in others to create an entirely unique experience that's also really fun (the late game is some of the most fun i've had in games, you can get so powerful it's crazy)
chaser one of my favorite super generic early 2000s fps games ever
I love that blue muzzle flash G11
This is gonna sound weird but E.Y.E is an example of a game that is poorly designed which makes it so good. (Well it's not a complete fucking mess but some elements could certainly use improvement) It's only a dollar, most people say it's pretty good but can't really give you a direct reason, just give it a shot. Maybe you'll find it terrible but at worst you're a dollar poorer.
Apparently Shadowrun Returns isn't part of the sale, but Blacklight: Retribution, a F2P game is? Kind of odd.
Maybe because its being sold in a humble bundle today?
[vid]http://puu.sh/gEMtK/a07340e1be.webm[/vid] shameless webm plug
The motion kind of makes me sick, is it that bad in game?
The motion kind of makes me sick, is it that bad in game?
yes but you won't be moving that fast until end-game + i purposely built my character around being as fast as possible.
The motion kind of makes me sick, is it that bad in game?
You can disable the motion blur on the options menu
I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream is 75% off. Holy shit.
The only title I have played on this list is Mirror's Edge. Which games would you guys say are absolute MUST HAVEs?
The only title I have played on this list is Mirror's Edge. Which games would you guys say are absolute MUST HAVEs?
transistor - half real-time, half strategy jazzpunk - first person point-n-click e.y.e. - wannabe wh40k fps with really bad french -> english text that makes everything sound silly frozen synapse - turn based tactics anachronox - weird ff7 battle system and super dated graphics and slow in the beginning i have no mouth and i must scream - classic point-n-click far cry 3 blood dragon - campy '80s action movie with robot dinosaurs satellite reign - very reminiscent on the original syndicate with real-time squad command.

What kind of game is EYE exactly?
You haven't played Dues Ex: HR?
I haven't played any Deus Ex
Oh god this is totally me. Shame that Steam Support won't answer my ticket with anything but automated system messages. Never got any reply and yeah. Well. Sucks. No Cities: Skylines for me, or any of these cyberpunk games.
What kind of game is EYE exactly?
It's a very experimental game, but I'd say it's the best of the Brozouf genre. [editline]18th March 2015[/editline] Also, is Satellite Reign worth the $23? I don't usually buy Early Access games, but this looks pretty neat.
EYE can't be properly explained. It's a first person shooter but it's very RPG when a ton of different ways to build your character with a story that doesn't make any sense, but it's all there. Think of it as Deus Ex mixed with Ghost in the Shell

System shock 2 is a must play
I haven't played any Deus Ex
You should fix that
once again is there any possibility of extracting the Mirror's Edge OST from the game files if I own it? One of my favorite game soundtracks and I can't legitimately find it anywhere other than a single Youtube video.
I havent touched EYE in like two years but I thought maybe try it out with a friend in co-op. Does it have long story?
Aw, no Shadowrun or Dragonfall? BLOODNET looks hilarious though.
Apparently Shadowrun Returns isn't part of the sale, but Blacklight: Retribution, a F2P game is? Kind of odd.
Plenty of stuff in there doesn't really fit the "cyberpunk" bill, either. Oh well.
Binary Domain is a generic TPS that doesn't do anything new and it has a predictable story but for some reason, it is very fun
Binary Domain is a generic TPS that doesn't do anything new and it has a predictable story but for some reason, it is very fun
Binary Domain has amazing characters and one of the best/dumbest endings ever. You can blow your enemies apart piece by piece and your team likes you more for going ape-shit and massacring tons of robots. [sp]You can also hit on a teenage girl and everyone hates you for it.[/sp]
Binary Domain is a generic TPS that doesn't do anything new and it has a predictable story but for some reason, it is very fun
enemy destruction is fun, bosses are crazy, it has good characters
Can't believe i haven't played Transistor before. It's freakin' awesome so far!
