speaking of which side wins more, radiant or dire. i remember testing (and several other users testing) whether or not the creeps on purple side (top right) in league of legends were stronger than the creeps on blue side (bottom left). turns out it was true, if you let the creeps fight each other the purple creeps eventually won over the blue creeps and started pushing into towers.
yeah there was something like that, it even spawned the "purple minions op" meme idk if that was fixed or not but it's nothing game-breaking so i wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't
idk if that was fixed or not but it's nothing game-breaking so i wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't
How is that not game breaking? Minions for both sides are suppose to be the same thing. That is the definition of game breaking when one side has more powerful minions "just because".
5 damage is enough to compensate for the focus advantage that purple minions sometimes have.
Why do any minions have an advantage?
How is that not game breaking? Minions for both sides are suppose to be the same thing.
5 damage is enough to compensate for the focus advantage that purple minions sometimes have.
That's actually way too much and would stack up really quickly.
Why do any minions have an advantage?
2 Melee minions AA eachother, only 1 can die, both reach each-other at the same moment. I am not sure why the purple one wins more often then the blue one, maybe their path-finding is slightly different, maybe they are added to the world in a certain order that gives the purple minions the edge, maybe its a floating point error. [editline]28th January 2014[/editline]
That's actually way too much and would stack up really quickly.
Only the first wave matters, The whole wave has maybe 2-2.5k health, influence of champions/heroes is maybe gone be 1-2k damage, and 5 more or less is enough to compensate for the lucky minion wave that gets 1 extra AA. Its really not a huge deal.
I honestly just wish they'd let you zoom out further.
You used to via hacks. The problem with it is that it presented some pretty crazy advantages to the people who did it. Those people ended up getting banned for it of course, it's pretty easy to track. That said, you can still get pseudo-zoom out by having a larger display. Where a 1920x1080 monitor will show a significantly larger amount of area than say, 1024x768. This incidentally goes for both League of Legends and DotA.
i can minimize dota 2 all i want, but if i alt tab once in lol it's a pain in the ass to get back in the game
Borderless Windowed, for all your alt-tabbing desires.
yeah there was something like that, it even spawned the "purple minions op" meme
That was started after a guy named SlyGoat made a post on the forums named something along those lines back in 2010. In which Purple Caster Minion(s) did several hundred damage to his champion, resulting in his death. It really has no real relevance to anything, just for laughs.
lol's engine is retarded i can minimize dota 2 all i want, but if i alt tab once in lol it's a pain in the ass to get back in the game not to mention, i can run dota 2 on medium settings just fine but if i run lol at anything higher than "very low", it lags and crashes like there's no tomorrow
Have you set windowed full screen on? I only get random particle errors from time to time if I alt tab out and back in. That said Dota's windowed full screen is much better of course.
