Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut improvements staying on Wii U - Sensationalist Headlines

Well I wanted a wii u anyway. Just another reason to get one hohohoho.

I never beat the game on PC, as long as they don't charge full price (which they probably will) I may get it for the Wii U.

More of a reason to get a WiiU. While I'm miffed it isn't coming to PC, I'm not sad. It was a great game.

Improving a broken aspect of a game (boss fights) is now an exclusive feature on a port. Bravo, Eidos.

Gonna throw it out there.....this is fucking lame. I mean, I'm all for giving bigger incentives to buy the Wii U....but you are purposefully neglecting HR on the other platforms. That just ain't right.

And seriously though, all that's changed is the boss battles and DLC comes packaged with it. Whoopdefuckingdo, maybe 10-15 total minutes of a playthrough are changed. Just spend 2-3 praxis points on the typhoon and blast through the boss battles with ease. You act like you've been robbed of things that change the entire game.

You act like you've been robbed of things that change the entire game.[/QUOTE] As I already said, the devs themselves said the boss battles had very big changes and improvements, and seeing as the major complaints about the game came from the boss battles not being what people wanted... People don't want to typhoon bosses, they want to either take them out non-violently, or not even deal with them at all.

And it's not even an exclusive DLC, it's a patch that fixes an aspect of the game.

I'm guessing a few months after release they'll put it out as $5 DLC for PC/360/PS3. They just need the time to push people to get it on Wii U if they already own it on other platforms. They wouldn't pass up the option of getting more money from people that easily when we're [I]asking[/I] them to give us DLC.

that and this is the first time in a while I cared for something that is console exclusive. I was happily enjoying being a PC gamer only with no intention of ever buying a console ever again. Well I still have that intention but this still is dumb

TF2 has all this shit on the PC because it can. Orange Box on consoles is literally filled to the brim, plus restrictions. Valve literally can't put PC's content on the console version of TF2.
