That's pretty much why I didn't like him, and I still don't like his character but from what I've seen and heard he's a super cool guy in real life.
I wouldn't mind John Cena being pushed as a posterboy face of the company if he had just as much charisma and mic skills as The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Every sort of quirk and gimmick Cena has appeals to middle class "hood" kids who just think its SO cool. Like a rated PG Eminem. He doesn't emanate the word "Bad Ass" like his predecessors did and it's not easy to root for him unless you are "that" kind of person, and or you have a child that idolizes him.
It's a shame Danial Bryan is out for a long time, he would have been the cover if he hadn't gone through neck surgery and stayed the champ. Danial Bryan is a lot more likeable of a hero, he represents the underdog and his indie wrestling background makes him fucking awesome.
