I just imagine all the people who made similar games on Newgrounds or such must be really kicking themselves after seeing someone make infinity billion dollars off they what they made for free years ago.
It's a game this is easy to pick up and play, people tend to like that sort of thing.
In other words, a game designed for people who are noob gamers.
lmao yeah i'm sure DICE is working hard on their angry birds clone
I'm obviously not talking about developers that have a set franchise but its just simple supply and demand. The more angry birds sells, the more developers will make games like it.
But now i'm thinking about an angry birds clone using the frostbite 2 engine. The destruction physics.

do you really think any game made by a group that's cloning angry birds would be worth anything?
it's not like they have brilliant ideas and put them on hold for an angry birds clone

holy shit you are so fucking pretentious
its alright, a bit too easy i must say
dont like it as much as crush the castle, but what are you gonna do
do you really think any game made by a group that's cloning angry birds would be worth anything?
The publisher can tell the deves to do blank because its popular and they would have to do it. But even then even the best of developers will try to make whats popular or make there game more like it.
major publishers aren't going to be stupid enough to use their A-teams for an angry birds clone
the worst case scenario is a couple companies put out angry birds clones and they flop, and so they stop.

Sorry for not liking a video game, I know FP having a general opinion of something is so looked down upon, but the reality is we just don't care for those type of games, nothing wrong with that.
It's like the CoD thing, lots of people intelligently criticized that series in the past, lots of the types of gamers like ones on FP agreed with it, but rather than repeating proper critique they just went "LOL CoD sucks". There is valid reasons to not like CoD, people here just don't bother typing a fucking wall of text.

It would mean basically everyone but teams who have already spent years making hardcore games are going to make angry birds clones.

most game developers have always worked on casual shovelware crap. it's just on a new platform now. nothing has changed
nothing has changed
Except its getting increasingly more popular. Never before have iphone and facebook games beat hardcore games by this much when it comes to popularity. Really, supply and demand.
just because it's getting more popular doesn't mean it takes up more development time. these games are relatively simple to make. "hardcore" gaming isn't going to die because of mobile gaming.

lol stupid scrub indie games for casual nerds who dont play call of duty and dont pLaY iT lOuD
scrubby casual fags
