God help us all if Oblivion Nexus made the next game.
probably khajiit titty island v3
Fixed for accuracy, at least from the 5 minutes I spend at the Nexus site per mod download.
Nah, it's just a heavily modified version of Gamebyro.
'heavily'? It's literally gamebryo. Same stiff animations, same face animations, same walking/jumping physics, same cell loading, same mod tools, same formats, same everything + diagonal walking.
I thought they said there were going to do 4 DLCs
Whatever it is, there are just some things that will be assured.
1) It will be buggy as fuck. Bethesda staple.
2) It will have a shitty story since Bethesda decided not to hire writers anymore.
3) It will use Gamebryo and run/look like ass.
4) Lies

All of that is down to Bethesda.

how many are out so far?
I thought they said there were going to do 4 DLCs
1. HD Texture "DLC"
2. Dawnguard
3. Hearthfire
4. Dragonborn
https://twitter.com/DCDeacon Check out Pete Hines twitter. Looks like we really aren't getting more Skyrim content. Yay for loose ends. Maybe the next TES game will incorporate choices from Skyrim and finish the Thalmor war.

I'm not sure the HD texture thing counts.
I am disappointed, I was excited for the next Skyrim DLC to be announced.
Oh well. It's nothing really worth getting upset over, I say.
Pete Hines on his twitter said "We never promised such things like 4 major DLC."
oh boy i cant wait to be lead by the nose through another dull predictable story that pretends to give me freedom and patronizes me at every turn
i hope they slap an essential flag on every npc that isn't immediately hostile because i have no judgement and must be handheld through boring underground sewers and dungeons to have fun
elder scrolls fps plz
Just give Fallout 4 to Obsidian, I want another NV, not another 3.

It's pretty obvious from a gameplay perspective too
Skyrims engine is based on Gamebryo. It's pretty obvious when you look at it from a development perspective.
It's pretty obvious from a gameplay perspective. New coat of paint or not, you can tell when playing in the game that it's still gamebryo because of how horribly floaty the game feels.
I'm sad because Skyrim was probably their weakest elder scrolls game released to date from a design and "keep you invested in the world" perspective, and the modding community is way worse and way less developed than that of Morrowind/Oblivion, and I know that they'll be jumping on the next fallout after this even though I really don't like the fallout franchise (it just does nothing for me, the setting isn't interesting to me at all IMO).
So now I get to wait at least 8-10 years till the next elderscrolls game only to get sad at the fact that it probably won't even beat skyrim in how good the overall design is.
Hopefully their next game has some effort put into it.

Christ they were only given one chance at Fallout. Cut them some slack.

I'd rather it be in the hands of the guys who proved they can do it right than to hand it to the guys who have been steadily going downhill and fucked up last time in hopes they can make it well this time.
I want khajit kitchen full game

I'd rather it be neither TES nor Fallout but something new. At least they won't have any previous games to be compared to then.
I'd rather it be neither TES nor Fallout but something new. At least they won't have any previous games to be compared to then.
Yeah, I feel like Bethesda might be able to really shine again if they had an entirely new IP to work with.
Unless they fix the damn fps mechanics in fallout 4 and the embarrisingly bad AI, then I'm not buying it.

Bethesda made Oblivion with their own engine.
Then they had to take a IP they just bought and adapt their engine to use guns and write on an IP they weren't that experienced with.
Then they teamed up with Obsidian and probably picked up some tips from then as they worked together.
Most likely the same when they worked with Arkane Studios Dishonored (I know they published but whose not to say they didn't try to learn something.)
Again it was their first Fallout game, we shouldn't hold them completely back just because they have an ugly engine and a shit main story.
If it is a new IP, bring it on I say, but if it's a new Fallout game, then let's just give them one more chance and see if they can make something actually interesting.
[editline]15th April 2013[/editline]
Besides their current engine fucking jumped between 2008 and 2013.
Can they please, please hire some good fucking writers and have gameplay designers who can actually be bothered to make quests that don't end up in some fucking dungeon? That's all I want.
Shame that they didn't do too much with the skyrim DLC though, I expected more.
All I'm saying is that of course we aren't going to have Obsidian doing Fallout 4, so we might as well hope for the best and expect the worse.

After Skyrim, I don't have high hopes.
skyrim was enjoyable for a playthrough but once i finished the main story i just couldn't be bothered to play it anymore. i definitely spent more time having fun with oblivion in comparison. that being said, i hope the next game is fallout 4, if only for the small hope of obsidian getting to make a better fallout 4 afterward
It's a good time to move on, Skyrim was held back quite a bit by the last gen consoles.
