i guess but the game wont make any sense if you do
granted its part of the charm of fallout, but youll have a difficult time actually playing the game
Yeah, the old fallouts gave very little hand holding. In fact they pretty much gave the opposite of hand holding. I'd say with the first 2 fallouts there's no shame in looking up a guide, as the games quests are pretty unintuitive a lot of the time.

no im not talking about intuitive or handholding, im talking about gameplay bugs that prevent you from playing the game
some of the nonviolent options simply dont work, they break the quests, and vault city's quests are like landmines when it comes to their bugs. choose the wrong option or do the wrong thing and the quest stops working.

I've never encountered these "bugs." Also do you have low speech? Non violent dialogue and stuff turns pretty fuckin violent if you do.

dude dont you even start questioning my stats brah thats an insult in rpg world
one of the biggest bugs i know off the top of my head is that sometimes a variable wouldnt be set and the ghouls in gecko would become hostile to you making that particular quest-tree difficult to almost impossible to do with a peaceful ending

i would say if you were to play fallout 1 or 2 you should get the community addon that fixes all of those bugs and reintroduces the huge amount of cut content
You might run into a broken quest or two and get the wrong ending slides for a few things but those games are far from "unplayable". Getting the wrong ending might be annoying but it doesn't break the whole game.
Still, you should get the patches and the community addons like the restoration project, they're free and pretty amazing, so why not.
They should do a game based on the other continents on Nirn, like Akavir.
I'm a bit late on the response here but they could pick "Elder Scrolls Adventures" back up. I wouldn't mind a bunch of shorter, Dark Messiah-esque (gameplay-wise) games set on Nirn revolving around different characters in different provinces.
After dropping Skyrim before the 50 hour mark (even with mods), unless they really improve on their next game, no thanks. I'm tired of the wooden animations, unnatural feeling interactions, empty and tiny cities, shit floaty combat, dated engine, shit story and generally uninteresting setpieces. Nothing more painful than watching the "epic" final battle consisting of 3 dues spouting the same lines over and over while mechanically swinging at (usually not connecting either) sword at a dragon until it falls over.
Only thing Skyrim did was the big open world, and even then pretty badly, but it's the only one doing it, at the moment. Not like the average Skyrim player knows, he's too busy playing the yearly release of Madden and MW (which is another thing, the games have gotten progressively simpler and "broader appeal" since Morrowind).
i can't wait to have sweet sweet lies whispered into my ears again

That too. I wouldn't really mind the game if they were honest, I can't imagine it being too easy to make a open world game that works on those old consoles, but they lie about it all the time, even when the game is 2 days from release.
