It is now.
A reworked engine, using native C++ instead of Flash. Should run much faster, and “runs on even utterly rubbish systems and ones with no dedicated gpu”!
i.e. Macs

I agree with him. I'm ok with a little retro graphics, but when they look as if they came from an atari 2600, thats going a bit far.
Anyone else feel a little bit dizzy/nauseous when they look at that screenshot in the article?
any body else get but hurt when they read DarkCisco's comments?
just me?
also, why do people care more about how a game looks than how it plays?
its dumb, the game has a story, and a good one for such a basic game,
dont be a fucking arse about 1 indie game
your opinion should have stayed in your head.

Hey, don't get me wrong, I like older games more then new ones, But the thing is, it looks like with some simplification of the graphics, this game would work on the Atari 2600, and I'm not even kidding.

Someone's actually porting it to C64 (which it's somewhat inspired by).

Also what's wrong with it having relatively simple graphics? They serve their purpose, and the gameplay is good and solid. It doesn't need flashy new graphics.
vvvvvv is 200 times better than minecraft don't kid yourselves.

Apples and oranges.
I like both in their own unique ways. Though I absolutely loved VVVVVV. It really nailed the gameplay and the artstyle was perfect.
I don't see why people are complaining that Notch made some levels for another game. He's still working on Minecraft, so quit whining.

Oh, you just suck.
