If my 760 GTX can't max it Ubi can go fuck themselves. I'd rather be able to actually play the game than look at a pretty slideshow. Wait why the fuck is the shitty octa-core reccomended? Eh, after watching the video it doesn't look much better than say, Max Payne 3 or Blacklist. Yeah sure it looks better than both, but not that much. I'm not worried at all, my rig is a beast anyways. Seriously though if I get framerate issues from maxing it I'm punching some exec in the face. Pretty godrays don't make the game more fun to play. This focus on graphics is utterly disgusting and is completely the wrong direction for the industry to focus on. It's like a scapegoat for actually being creative and making good gameplay. Not only that but it's obvious the graphics companies want us to think that it's the most important part of a game... This game does look cherry, but if things go tits up for some reason watch everyone give it a ten out of ten because PRETTY GAWD RAYS AND AMBIENT OC-whatthefuckevertechnobabble. Basically what happened with The Last of Us. Don't see how they could fuck up the gameplay that bad on this game though.

It is a nice card still.

It's really not that big of a deal. If your immersion is broken by one pixel being off then you got issues. [sp]And don't bother trying to go "if you can afford those games you can afford to upgrade" or some bullshit like that, because it's rare that I buy a game on PC that isn't from a Humble Bundle or something. The two specifically mentioned games were given to me by some really generous people.[/sp]
How well does it run BF4? I'm looking to get the 4Gb model for my new build
I have a 760, and I run BF4 on max and never notice any FPS dips (though I am at 1680x1050). At 1080p you could probably almost max it and be fine.
handle it like me, a guy who can't afford a PC upgrade to run Battlefield 3/Crysis 2+/Etc. at a steady FPS
should've sold all your hats then
should've sold all your hats then
That'd get me like $50 max. They aren't worth nearly as much anymore.
No it's bad if I can't run it as it should be fully intended with modern hardware because that means a decent portion of capital that went into development (and out of my own pocket) is not experienced by the consumer. My card peaks at 50c and yet when I play the ORIGINAL crysis, 2 things happen. 1. My card goes to 65+ probably peaking at 70 2. I realize how shit this single player is because they spent all their time trying to make it look pretty rather than make the campaign last longer than 5 hours. Oh did I forget to mention as soon as you meet the aliens they completely ruin the game so depending upon how fast you get through the first part, the last 1-2 hours will be horrible. And when I say shit I obviously refer to the length. As I recall there are only a single digit number of areas, truely, with that beautiful open ended gameplay. And even they felt a bit stifled. BUT FLOATIN AROUND THAT SPACE SHIP SURE WAS PURTY. Also yes the 770 may outperform the 760 but not as much as you say. Not only that but as far as tech goes in my opinion the 770 is overkill for gaming. It outperforms the 760 if you want to run at an insane resolution. This is all speaking practically. Can you not redact everything I say in a post and focus on a single part of it, transforming the entire point of the post into something entirely different then attack it in a petty and off-base way. My point is that graphics are interfering with the growth of gameplay. This whole bullshit notion of releasing something that requires either top shelf hardware, or in my example's case (crysis) a couple of fucking years for even the top shelf shit to come out that can max it with a decent frame rate has got to stop.
I wonder how much nvidia payed them to add physx
I wonder how much nvidia payed them to add physx
Please tell me where they said that they've added physx. All I've heard was HBAO+ and TXAA.
How well does it run BF4? I'm looking to get the 4Gb model for my new build
Depending on when you're upgrading I would wait, they're just about to launch the 8xx series (They launched the 870M a few months ago, it's more of a re-branding or something, but you get the idea) I was going to buy a 770 a few months back, decided to put off upgrading until the 870/880 launches.
The animations look prettier than the actual environments do.
I'm currently running a Nvidia GTX 460 Should I upgrade or something? Or whatever that bridging shit does?
