Bought it on sale + TITAN20 promo code. Played a few hours and god damn this game is fucking amazing I didn't know solarpunk was a thing outside of Anno 2070 until I saw the awesome tree factory in the second level. Good to see more of this in fiction
Well I found hard drive space. I like the whole "play it at 42% babbbyyyyy" thing, kind of a shame you're relegated to that one gauntlet mind. Probably should have stuck one or two more in to focus on different combat abilities by themselves. Good feeling to the motion though. Even if I can't beat the 38s or so time that I keep just scraping.
nobody thought that about the first game, it just died because it didn't have a lot to it.
That, and it was an xbox one exclusive. This one isn't, and also has a kick ass campaign.
that type of thinking is how these type of games fail. :goodjob:
And it's how I save myself money. I'm not about to go buy Battleborn for any price because I know the playerbase is dead. I've seen someone say this game's playercount drops below 10,000. Sub-10,000 isn't good enough for me.\ [editline]a[/editline] Not to mention I hardly use Origin. If I want to play The Sims or Burnout Paradise or Dead Space or any of the games I have on there, I'll launch it, but I don't open up my Steam/Origin/GOG/Uplay libraries every time I want to play something, I just open Steam. Regardless of whenever I buy this, I won't be putting hundreds of hours into the mp.
fuck... just when its on sale my fucking card doesnt work ohhh i have such bad luck
That, and it was an xbox one exclusive. This one isn't, and also has a kick ass campaign.
It was on PC too
I was playing yesterday and saw like 5400 people online, today I saw at least 7k people playing Titanfall. If these numbers persist, I assume my purchase will be worth it by the time they iron out the balancing and such. I hope this game lives, it's great. I've played like 22 hours and I bought it on the 18th.
decided to try it out, good thing origin has a nice return policy
I'm torn between this and The Elder Scrolls Online (Gold Edition)... any advice? EDIT: Found out the Gold Edition doesn't give you all future DLCs or the Imperial Edition. Fuck that. I'm getting Titanfall 2.
Not too interested in a new multilayer since rainbow 6 siege is my new drug, but at that price is it worth for the solo alone?
Not too interested in a new multilayer since rainbow 6 siege is my new drug, but at that price is it worth for the solo alone?
I've heard really good things of the singleplayer, but it's up to you if you wanna shell out $30 USD for what is essentially a 5-7 hour story

I was worried that I wouldn't be able to run this game at 60 with my 660ti but it actually seems optimized quite well. Thank god.
I was worried that I wouldn't be able to run this game at 60 with my 660ti but it actually seems optimized quite well. Thank god.
Well it is based off Source. The adaptive resolution also helps.
Well it is based off Source. The adaptive resolution also helps.
idk saying that this game is on Source is like saying that CoD4 or MW2 are on Quake 3 engine, which is technically true. But in the Final Hours of Titanfall they've mentioned that they rebuild most of components on Source engine for first Titanfall and I'm gonna bet they also did the same with second one. What I'm saying it might be not the same Source as Valve's Source if that makes sense.

What I'm saying it might be not the same Source as Valve's Source if that makes sense.
It's using Source as the backbone, but it's definitely not the Source we all know and loathe. It'd be neat to see how many of the core structures of Source still exist within the engine, they've redone the renderer, the audio handling, likely the networking (as the first game needed to use Azure compute for the AI on the XBOne), etc. But I do wonder if the development cycle works similarly to a standard Source game. I've put about an hour and a half into the story as of now and the game runs wonderfully for what it's trying to do. To keep 144FPS I had to drop a few things down, but it still looks incredibly nice. You wouldn't know it was Source looking at it because they managed to do away with all the hallmarks of Source rendering and level limitations. Even fighting AI Titans is quite a bit of fun. Though the arenas haven't been super large yet so it's mostly been a case of dashing around their cover to unload and dashing away because coward power is the only power needed.
I sure hope the population picks up because I can't find a damn game.
I sure hope the population picks up because I can't find a damn game.
Are you queuing for Attrition, Bounty Hunt or Mixtape? Those are the playlists where you can just about always find a match
So I thought I couldn't get this game, but an extremely nice person gave me the money to buy it. I'm in awe what they've done with the singeplayer, I'm soon at the end of it and holy fuck did it smash my expectations. Respawn better fucking make another game with a longer singleplayer because they have something AMAZING to build upon. I love the world, I fucking ADORE the level design and can't wait to try out multiplayer soon. I might be biased and might say this a bit early (before trying out the multiplayer), but please buy this game to show Respawn that they actually made a good game.
Screw it I haven't bought a new source game in ages.
That, and it was an xbox one exclusive. This one isn't, and also has a kick ass campaign.
Titanfall wasn't Xbox One exclusive, where the hell did you get that?
Titanfall wasn't Xbox One exclusive, where the hell did you get that?
It was an Xbox exclusive, but with such a shoddy 360 port it was effectively an Xbone exclusive, on console platforms.
I sure hope the population picks up because I can't find a damn game.
You can always play Attrition no matter what time it is. Other modes are mostly dead.
It was an Xbox exclusive, but with such a shoddy 360 port it was effectively an Xbone exclusive, on console platforms.
So it wasn't an exclusive. If you could play it on something that's not a Xbox, it's not an exclusive.
So it wasn't an exclusive. If you could play it on something that's not a Xbox, it's not an exclusive.
You could only play it on the MS platform, in my book that qualifies as an exclusive. [editline]21st November 2016[/editline] I mean, with all the backporting at the beginning on this generation of consoles, and all the remasters we're getting now, console exclusive basically just means if it's only on Xbox, Playstation, or Nintendo.
It was in PC but it was a Microsoft console exclut
It ran perfectly well on PC
