Geezus, it has 1,735 people playing right now and 2,370 is the 24 hour high. Didn't know people still played it that hard.
Every game should support coop.
I don't care if it doesn't even make sense in the context of the story, games that had it had great replayability because of it.
I loved how at the time Doom, Quake, AvP 99, Unreal, Duke 3D, Heretic, Hexen 1 & 2, etc. all supported coop. Unfortunately at the time of HL and after games started dropping it, save for the Diablo series of which I still play now because of it.
It was just, so nice to go to a favorite game both I and a friend had played and say "Hey, lets play through it cooperatively" because that alone has made me have more fun playing those games over most others.
It'd be killer if games like TES, STALKER, and Fallout had coop.
Do people still play Sven?

I actually forgot that and I have over 300 hours in it, welp.

I usually see Postal and a few others on my friends list in a game but not in a while
i mean they would need good AI for empty servers, but i see where they are coming from. As with a lot of things you need a group of folks willing to help push something forward
Dystopia is a very good multiplayer indie game. Even though the game is "dead" by this guy's standards, there still is a group of people willing to meet together and play it once a week through a steam group. Its still a loads of fun. Should the developers listen to this guy's advice, world would be a much worse place for at least thirty people.
It's really true, I don't actually know how many Indie games I own that are purely multiplayer based and totally dead or suffer from horrible server support.
For instance I always loved Lead and Gold but it simply died after a while despite being really good.
Yeah maybe multiplayer only.
I don't think anyone should make multiplayer only games, AAA or indie. When the community dies off you're left with a game that you can't play.
"TF2 and Dota 2 should have singleplayer :rolleye:"
You can't be serious
