Get it now.
Already have it on steam though
JUST BOUGHT IT LAST WEEK. BECAUSE I COULDNT FIND MY PHYSICAL COPY.
BUT THANKS ORIGIN.
I just bought it in the Steam sale, oh my fucking lord.
Also just finding out this playthrough that this game didn't hold up well graphically.
already had it on steam, i see no reason to not to sponge free games off ea though
I gave a friend of mine my old Dao cd a few years ago and he fucking shattered it after a few weeks, I really wanted to replay it to prepare for Dai, but I didn't want to buy it again and piracy is something I'll never do, so this is perfect
Awesome game, though this is a desperate attempt to get people to think about Inquisition, which doesn't look very good tbh.
Guess I'll finally get to play one.
I would but I cannot stand Origin. If it just ran through Steam, that'd be awesome.
come get the only good game in the trilogy

doesnt make it any less true though
i literally cannot imagine what kind of mental disability one has to enjoy DA2 or even think or pre-ordering DA3

It wasn't that good-looking when it was released.

Running on a laptop with an onboard NVIDIA GPU in 2010 it looked amazing.

Already had a physical copy, but my optical drive is fucked, so thanks I guess!
Thanks to this, I now have two versions of DA:O on my Origin.

EA is giving something away for free. BETTER SHIT ON THEM SOMEHOW. CAN'T LET THIS HAPPEN WITHOUT REMINDING PEOPLE HOW TERRIBLE THEY ARE.
I can't get it. I try to get it from the browser but the email with the code never arrives or arrives too late. From the client, I click "Get it now" and it does nothing.

is it not already in your library
it doesn't send a code and getting it from the client instantly adds it to your library

Who the hell cares
I actually preferred DA2's combat over DA:O. But I'm happy they're changing it up a bit for Inquisition to be closer to DA:O with a touch of traditional third person if you choose, which will probably make the multiplayer interesting. I almost want Inquisition just for the Coop, but until I see some gameplay after it comes out I'm not going to throw down the money for it. I decided that after OFP Dragon Rising that I wasn't going to get burned again by hype and rehearsed gameplay video
ME3 was worth it just for the Co-op, and I have a feeling that Inquisition is going to have the same vibe, for me anyway
Whats this DA2 you guys speak about? I've never heard of it
:downs:
I enjoyed DA2 my first playthrough but that might be because I spent $60 on it. Then I finished it and realized all that was wrong with it and that I've been scammed.
With the signature edition, you have to download several 30mb files to unlock the on disc DLC

I liked it on my first playthrough, hated it on my second playthrough, and liked it again on my third playthrough where I had the DLC. Once you can appreciate the game for what it is rather than hating it for what it isn't you get a fairly good RPG with some poor design choices and a cast of varying quality.
The gameplay of DA2 was fine, it was really just the writing that was bad. Overall I liked it. Inquisition looks fun as shit to me, but judging by the info we've got so far it looks like the writing is still going to be bad. I'll probably rent it on console and play it once and be done with it. Origins is still by far the best. People shit on the franchise because of some bad writing but the games are still fun for the most part.
