The gameplay of DA2 was fine, it was really just the writing that was bad. Overall I liked it. Inquisition looks fun as shit to me, but judging by the info we've got so far it looks like the writing is still going to be bad. I'll probably rent it on console and play it once and be done with it. Origins is still by far the best. People shit on the franchise because of some bad writing but the games are still fun for the most part.
Oh yeah, fighting waves and waves of enemies that spawn right before your eyes is great fun! So is going into same fucking cave 20 times on crappy quests! And being confined to one city! Honestly, sounds like for some people DA2 was so bad they've gone into denial to try and convince themselves they didn't waste their fucking money on a game that pales in comparison to the original.

Sounds to me like you're the one with an agenda to fill.

Maybe they actually just liked it? :downs:

Plus the deep roads. Da2 had a slew of different issues, particularly with positioning being useless and the city not changing enough. (Oh and Anders, everyone wants to kill anders) But a lot of the characters felt stronger. Sarcastic Femhawke, Aveline a bunch of others worked better than virtually anything in origins.
doesnt make it any less true though i literally cannot imagine what kind of mental disability one has to enjoy DA2 or even think or pre-ordering DA3
"People liked a game i hated so that means they're mentally disabled" Man, you definitely don't have any bias against DA2 at all. Personally, I enjoyed the gameplay a hell of a lot more then DAO. Guess that means I'm mentally disabled.
I thought they improved the gameplay in DA2 since I enjoyed the speed boost and the new abilities and I enjoyed the new story but I hated that it was the same locations over and over and over and they removed crafting and traps. Romances were the least worst thing about the game but I liked that instead of a like-hate meter, they replaced it with the friend-rival system
DA2's gameplay was better. But everything around the gameplay was stale, random, and all around just 'Fluff'. It was better gameplay in a worse game And DA:O is almost a masterpiece. My real gripes with it is the combat can be a little boring for the first half of the game, and your character moves too fast I'm also expecting Inquisition to have ZERO mod support
Never played a DA game before, now I have no reason not to try it.
