I bought this game, for me and my friend.
But i don't whine, i got to have fun before this day with my friend, lots of updates and other awesome stuff.
And now my other friends can play it too
It was already like a free2play FPS in most every way save the being free part, it's about time.
A friend bought it just yesterday after I told him the new items added in the update are going to be "totally awesome"
The only reason I'm pissed off is because the community is now even more shit then before. Of course, if it really pissed me off that much, I would have stopped playing. And I didn't.
But then again, the game was nearly free for a long time. I wonder why people didn't buy it.

How does this affect you negatively? They will make more money and they deserve it, also more attention will be payed in order to satisfy the new gamers.

Been playing free for a little while and I'm having fun and will probably upgrade my account sooner or later.
I don't care what other people think, I'm glad they made it free because I probably wouldn't have bought it and I can recommend it to friends now.

There's a difference between the game's price being reduced to small amounts for a very limited time or gradually decreasing over time, and it becoming free forever.

In my opinion, to upgrade to a premium, you need to spend 20 dollars in the store, to balance it out.
Or maybe just 10.

You currently need $5, that's minimum for Steam Wallet.
Eh, I could care less about this, TF2 went to shit with trading/mann co so I stopped playing. Won't have to deal with the new players or the new items.
and I totally saw them giving a hat for purchasers coming. "Hm.. they might get mad if we make it free... But wait, we'll just give them a hat, thats all they want anyway!"
The F2P people i've met so far are actually pretty nice
