As long as they don't do like what EA did with Red Alert on iOS, that game was a disgrace.
Even Microsoft is doing Windowsphone last

I misread the thread title
I can only imagine myself enjoying AOE on my comfy chair with my PC but I can see this working for alot of people.
Hopefully it doesn't suck so even more people can experience the glory of AOE.
the age of empires DS game was surprisingly awesome
Microsoft need killer apps for the Surface RT and Windows Phone 8 to succeed, and they don't make an adaptation of a beloved game series a timed exclusive? I'm surprised, though obviously not complaining.
Ive missed you childhood
Come back, please
This better be good

Age of mythology on ds was even better. Both games make surprisingly good turn based strategy games.
Age of Empires and Age of Mythology on the Nintendo DS play like crap, the interface and controls are to cumbersome to really enjoy the experience, it's also a spam fast and due to the shitty controls it's rather annoying to move all your troops.
I hope they design different than the DS versions.
I had Age of Empires on my old Casio Cassiopeia (I think 500) pocket pc, and that was amazing. Hopefully they manage to not fuck up touch controls in this one, because then I might have my new time waster right here.
