If this is the end of LulzSec, seems kind of anti-climactic. I would've been excited to see NATO break out into a full-out hacker war or whatever the hell they'd do with LulzSec.

That's what LulzSec wants though, if they were ultimately defeated by them in that manner they'd be imprisoned happy knowing they've done enough to validate the attention of NATO.
Better that they just get demolished by vigilante hackers then get any more attention.
How can they actually prove that they got a genuine member other than making him spew out the names of his colleagues (if he has the real ones)? The news nodes would always claim it's a real member, the one caught would probably always deny until impossible and LulzSec would always say they didn't catch the right one for as long as there's one guy left with the twitter account info.
In fact, LulzSec could even at one point, when things get too hot, say the guy caught is a real member (even tho he isn't), using them as scapegoats to make their own escape.
That's the thing when everyone can say they're a part of LulzSec. Even if they catch you cracking there's no telling whether you were just imitating them instead of being part of the group. Tho unlike with Anonymous there is a group and the members can maybe identify each other.
The guy they arrested was NOT related to Lulzsec. He ran an irc server. Lulzsec simply had a channel there.
