I was about to call this a prank of a game but from reading the article it might seem like there's some actual substance to it, no doubt the story's gonna be dire from what we've seen so far but at least it ain't full price. We'll see though, we always do.
As sad as this situation is, a zombie game with TPP's gunplay seems pretty fun.
At least it won't be a full priced game (or so they claim). I hope the trailer was just a bad trailer that misrepresented the game.
I don't care if this game is good, or even great. You'd have to be terrible to support Konami's practices.
I kinda want to try it out as long as the price is fair enough.

So you're gonna waste your cash on something bad just because someone who isn't at fault was behind its development process?
By that logic, you have to buy all the cash grab games, just because someone in its development might actually have worked hard on it.
The only way to buy this game is at sub $20. Not just because this is barely a MG game, but because Konami doesn't deserves a single cent for whatever they pull next for the franchise, seeing how they're hellbent in making it a cash cow with the least effort possible.

It isn't gonna be good.
Maybe technicaly, like, it will run well and all of that, but other than that, I'm dead sure it isn't gonna be good, and its just gonna be a Metal Gear themed survival game, of which there is no lack of nowadays.

That way, Konami can lay the franchise to rest, and not blame the people who made the game. If the game is bad, Konami would probably point fingers at the devs. If its good, the devs aren't to blame, unless Konami just throws food into the pen and go "do whatever you want, we'll get back with you in a few months" and not give a look at what could and could not work.

It doesn't takes a genius to figure out from that name, from the trailer AND from the cesspool of husks created from the games Konami has made over the years of bad decisions that this game will be low effort garbage with the survival genre of games, bearing the Metal Gear name, theme and backstory just to reel in people easier.
Not only that, whatever original content Konami comes up bearing the Metal Gear name, is most likely not even gonna be close to whatever Kojima made in the past, and thats without mentioning the fact that the game has pretty much all the important holes filled, and whatever you come up with next, is stuff like Reveangeance, that is just a spin off.
And do I REALLY have to explain it to you? No really, do I?

I want to chime in that Roca has a bit of a point, theres no reason to have any faith in this considering Konamis done this same routine like 4 times now and each time it was either fucking astonishingly, legendarily fucking awful (Bomberman: Act Zero), or just insulting and awful (the Silent Hill franchise).
They have a proven track record of fucking everything up when they kick out the people who actually make the good shit good.
