Can't wait for 5-10 years from now for people to have nostalgia for PewDiePie
It's not uncommon to have nostalgia for something that you later recognize as awful. Speaking of which, does anyone know when the new Disturbed album is coming out?
PDP isn't a bad dude, he knows his audiance, and his audiance are generally shitty kids. That isn't wrong to do really.
Good for him
TL;DR 5:35
Playing video games for a living or not, he works his ass off. The amount of editing he does per day would make me want to jump off a bridge. His target audience differs from the majority of us here, but that doesn't discredit him.
It just so sad, I know how pewdiepie used to be... sincere and had a more mature fanbase... and then he shafted his sincerity and a lot of mature viewers left...
I'm not saying I want him dead but considering how all you hear on Facepunch that he's a complete douchebag sure makes it sound like people hate him.
That's wierd because all I hear is the opposite, that he's really chill in person and donates a shitload to charity and stuff. It's his videos everybody hates.
I'm happy for him.
I don't understand the hate for Pewdiepie. He seems like a cool guy. It's cool to hate him, I guess.
I don't understand the hate for Pewdiepie. He seems like a cool guy. It's cool to hate him, I guess.
That and most of his commentary is just him over-reacting and making bad sexual jokes.
PewDiePie isn't awful, his audience is.
Honestly this shows that the internet still isn't a complete alternative to television and such I mean, yeah, 7 million is a lot of money but compared to stuff like television it really isn't, at least when you're pretty much the top entertainer on the biggest video site in the world right now
I don't think people should hate on him because of what he earns, he gets alot of money from advertisers and it just so happens alot of people find his videos entertaining. One thing that is massively overlooked as he stated in his videos is that he helped raise a million dollars and donated a thousand dollars to ALS.
After seeing that video, I don't dislike him as a person, however I do fucking hate his videos and I cannot stand watching them. I will say this however, he is a fucking genius making that much money from YouTube.
I hate articles like this. They always try to trivialize the effort that needs to be put into channels like this to be successful. "CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS GUY GETS THIS MUCH MONEY PLAYING VIDEO GAMES??!?"
or people that just say "UR JUAST JELOUS" fuck you of course I would love to make a living off gaming, who wouldn't. It's not the man I'm jealous of, it's the idea. [editline]8th July 2015[/editline] or people who call PDP / etc "Just lucky" the only reason they got their is because they actually do work their ass off. RWJ and PDP and Boogie and gamegrumps didn't just fall onto a pile of money.
I don't understand the hate for Pewdiepie. He seems like a cool guy. It's cool to hate him, I guess.
It's not 'cool' to hate him, his videos are just frustrating to watch, but I don't hate the person, just the annoying 13 year old fanbase he panders to.
It's not 'cool' to hate him, his videos are just frustrating to watch, but I don't hate the person, just the annoying 13 year old fanbase he panders to.
To be honest it is sort of cool to hate him. A lot of people who never watched his videos just immediately jump on the bandwagon whenever possible.
