I would love a port of Reach to PC. It was the only Halo game I enjoyed.

I hope this is what Halo Wars was originally believed to be (when there was no other info about it) - massive open-world combat MMO with role-based combat, like Coldsnap back in the day.
I doubt it will be but Coldsnap was the most fun thing ever when 200 players picked roles and stuck to them.

Microsoft are greedy assholes who knows that halo is the reason why XBOX is selling well. This is like asking Nintendo to port Legend of Zelda:Skyward sword to the PC. As long as Halo is making people buy Xbox and its latest version, it will never see a port or starboard to the PC ever.
It's funny how a game originally meant to be a Mac title became a Mac/PC/Xbox title and is now an Xbox exclusive after Halo 2.

I doubt the Halo series would have attained such insane popularity if it weren't for the Microsoft-centric crowd latching onto it. Bungie most likely got the best deal out of their Microsoft partnership.
But I do think it's possible for Halo 3 to be ported to the PC. After the launch of Microsoft's next console, of course.
Infinity its Halo 4's new multiplayer platform, like Bungie.net had stats and stuff, infinity will be for everything, Halo 2-Halo 6.
The multiplayer in Halo 4 takes place on the UNSC Infinity, a 3km long virtual reality testing ground.
I just hope they don't piss all over their fans like what they did to the poor Flight Sim series...

Regardless, my 360 is never being switched on again.
I bet the amount of money MS pumped into halo and bungie essentially makes no reason for them to even bother porting it.

Bungie would be, quite literally, dead for over a decade now if they didn't sell the IP.
They only had just:
1. Released the flop known as Oni (Great game, severely underrated)
2. Went damn near bankrupt because of the Myth 2 recall

Infinity is the name of the ship the Spartan IVs will be training on as part of Halo 4s multiplayer so I imagine its related to that.
