Bohemia should purchase rights to this mod and have it packaged in with Arma 3.
It's made by a Bohemia dev and it will be in Arma 3 as far as I understand.
Hopefully when they release Arma 3, hopefully they will have a filter that allow you exclude certain mods or missions that is spamming the server list.

I'm not defending it, you just seem to assume that because he's testing it with a huge amount of the public seems to make you entitled to a non-buggy game.
This is a good thing (as long as I don't have to re-buy it).
The War Z will provide some good, healthy competition for Day Z, as long as it turns its list of promised features into a list of actual features.
And now, if Day Z being standalone means great improvements, it'll provide for even healthier competition.
Movement and shooting are one of the best things that the engine brings to DayZ, it'll probably using a licensed version of the ArmA 3 engine anyhow, meaning all them juicy new features will be coming to DayZ as well.
Yeah, I fucking love randomly getting thrown off ledges and breaking my legs because the movement system takes 3 seconds to stop you from moving in a direction when I'm simply trying to edge near a ledge.
Oh man do I love randomly crawling along the ground and suddenly being in full sprint because the engine decided that whatever I crawled over should cause me to get up.
Jesus fucking christ the clunkiest ladder and interaction system causing you to glitch through walls and not being able to climb up certain ladders when you really mean to is some of the best damn features I've ever seen in a game!!
Yeah no, Arma2's engine is absolutely shitty in regard to almost everything that you desperately need in a multiplayer game.
but but but i just bought arma2
I just noticed the picture in the article is one of a zombie model that has a broken texture that still hasn't been fixed.

Buy arma 2, because, THINK OF THE JETS TO CRASH
You can only go so far with protecting something because it is an Alpha.
I would agree especially, since Minecraft people defending it constantly in Alpha and then beta and now in release they have no excuse. I think you should still be able to claim that there are going to be issues in pre-alpha.
Consider the fact that 5 years ago the thought of actually letting people play alpha or beta code publically just simply didn't happen. I think we need to keep that in mind. Years ago, we might not even see this game for another 2-3 years because they wouldn't consider releasing any prerelease builds of it.
The impatience of gamers has overwhelmed to the point where EA is doing really well actually having preorder game to gain access to a beta of another game, which is just fucking insane.
Ahahahahaha. All those fucks that bought Arma 2 just for DayZ with no intention of even trying it.
My friend bought ArmaII just for DayZ, so I invited him to play Armory on takistan.
He hasn't played DayZ since.
this is where all those people who bought ArmA II:CO for DayZ cry a little
