Or they could, you know, give out the server binaries and allow people to run them on machines that are significantly less taxed and possibly more powerful.
Still trying to fix product-breaking issues nearly six months after release, very professional.
In my opinion, Battlefield 4 should still be in the beta stage, and I think a 2014 June/July release would've been much more appropriate. I mean, seriously, even the crash-to-desktop problem from BF3 is still present.

They will never do this, they have their head so far up their ass. DURR HACKERS, PIRACY
It's the same with the frostbite SDK which they keep claiming is impossible to use on anything but a server farm.
your fucking face is a top priority to players' fists, DICE.
Seriously, this game, what the fuck EA? I bought BF3 on release, and it was mediocrish at start, but fixed pretty well in a month, but that is one of the reasons I dropped on buying BF4 on release. And since I'm waiting till the storm calms down and the game is fixed (plus the lowered price) so that I could get the game and try it, all I hear is how you're still fixing stuff you [i]SHOULD NOT EVEN HAVE IN THE FIRST PLACE. It's a disgrace to the history of gaming, and will never be forgotten by those who fell victim for this disaster. Amen
Worse than practically ANY CoD release

I've heard that Frostbite contains a lot of middleware that they can't legally distribute is why they can't release an SDK for it.
